Be aware that you can purchase this item at some local hardware stores for about $6. At the time of this writing I have not yet received the product, but happened to find the same item locally, which I installed. Can't tell if it is cast or machined, but it has horrible thread tolerances. Multiple attempts to fit it to my Kohler laundry faucet resulted in my entire upper torso and the room around me being soaked from water spewing forcefully from the threaded area!I made many attempts, using various levels of hand-tightening. I also tried it without the supplied rubber washer, and then with user-supplied O-rings as an alternative. Nothing stopped the profuse leakage past the threads. I was afraid to use pliers to increase tightening force, for fear of damaging the fitting, but after so many failed attempts I decided there was nothing to lose. Using water pump pliers I added additional tightening force using the supplied thick rubber washer. Forceful tightening lead to the same disastrous leakage. Only by accident did I discover a point within the tightening range where the leakage stopped. I had no confidence in it at this point, but went ahead and installed my aerator, and it seems to be holding after two days of constant professional use. Your results may vary. Just be aware that this particular product is really poorly made. It's unfortunate as this particular type of adapter is almost impossible to find.

Looked around for this adapter for quite some time, local stores were either sold out, over-priced or I forgot about it while at the store. Adapts garden hose thread from laundry faucet to standard kitchen faucet aerator. Have not had any problems with it leaking as in other reviews, crank down on it some more.

I bought this because I was not able to find the appropriate adapter to allow my laundry room faucet to have an aerator. The laundry room faucet is threaded for a standard garden hose but all the aerators I found were threaded for standard kitchen/bath faucets.This piece does fit the laundry room faucet and it allowed me to install the aerator I already had. So far so good.Although the adapter does fit (albeit with some difficulty getting it to attach to the faucet and also getting the aerator to attach to this adapter) it does not appear to be machined or deburred very carefully.

I initially bought the LDR 500 2184BK 360-Degree Swivel Aerator Hose for Kitchen Laundry and Bar Faucets, Chrome for my laundry room utility tub. But the faucet has a female end that fits a garden hose. Determined to make the hose I work I took it to the big and little hardware stores and nobody had anything that would work with it. I returned to Amazon, typed in a few word combinations and found this item. It worked beautifully and I am happy with the end result. Perhaps it should be shown as "frequently bought together", it would have made my life much easier.

I wanted to connect a portable dishwasher to my basement sink... which wasn't as simple as I had imagined. I already had the little aerator piece that is meant to connect to the dishwasher, but that wouldn't fit onto the faucet. It seems the basement washtub faucet is wider, and threaded like a garden hose bib. After much fiddling about with the spare plumbing parts and adapters I had on hand, I decided that I needed a very specific adapter. This looked to be the one, and it is a perfect fit. Job done.Minor point of interest: Like some of the other reviewers, I too received a chrome-colored part. Otherwise identical to the pictured item, it is a different color/finish. Not a problem for me, but could be for some.

My wife wanted me to put an Aerator on our Laundry Room faucet that would allow you to change the flow and rotate the nozzle around. I bought an aerator online and found out that my nozzle only had a garden hose male adapter. Looked everywhere, finally found this and it worked perfectly, it converted for a Garden hose connector to a standard 15/16 or 27 mm size that works with pretty much everything. I used a Waternympth Faucet Aerator and it works great.

This worked perfectly as an adapter to go from my utility sink faucet with male garden hose threads to a ZCONIEY Sink Bathtub Faucet Sprayer Attachment Hair Pet Rinser Showerhead with Stop Water-saving. One side of the adapter has female garden hose internal threads. The other side of the adapter has male kitchen sink external threads.

When I purchased this product and looked at the review, there were a lot of people who reported leaking with this fitting... I was slightly afraid to purchase this product because of the reviews. Now that I finished applying it, to those people who say it leaks, have you never heard of "plumming tape" or tape seals? It's basic knowledge if you are buying things like this.

The dimensions are wrong. The item return required self postage.

As described

We have a laundry sink that has a faucet with a 3/4" external thread (like an outside hose faucet), so I can't fit regular bathroom aerator/sprayer attachments to it. This Lasco thread size adaptor works perfectly, so I can now attach the standard sprayer attachment.
