Medium roast is not toooo strong, not weak either. A good afternoon or after dinner coffee. Love the company, I think I've tried most varieties including their decaf. Can't go wrong no matter what. Re low acid - very true, good bragging rights: I've never experienced a puroast mug followed by heartburn and my skin isn't dry all over (another sign of too much acidity).

Re: Puroroast 2.2 LB Low Acid Colombian Supremo bean coffee. It tastes smooth and delightful. I used a very fine grind setting and stovetop brewer. It is a mixture of what I understand as robusto light colored beans and a small percentage of dark roast beans. The beans are not oily so that there is a high amount of air-staticly charged chaff that sticks all over the plastic recepticle container of the grinder. If anyone is used to some so called breakfast blend that is mellow in nature, then they would love this coffee. The price was reasonable as well compared to some other brands per coffee taste. The container is easily openable and resealable, which is nice. The expiration is a year away, which is reassuring. I recommend this coffee.

VERY TASTY COFFEE ALTHO EXPENSIVE

I ordered the whole bean and they sent me ground. I texted Amazon and they said to keep it and they would send me the whole bean. Sounds good. So I got the second bag. Ground again. Someone in the warehouse cannot read. Oh well- I now have enough coffee for the winter. - It tastes good and i an using a cold brew over night. It seems to be helping with my acid reflux. New review after a few years of drinking this product. A very inconsistent product. It seems like a different bean and roast every time i get it. I have made 9 buys at this time and there will be no more. The last one there is no good coffee smell or taste to it. In fact there is a slight chemical taste and smell. Not good. Probably going to throw the whole 2 pound bag out but first I will try mixing it with another coffee. I would say that you get what you pay for as this is a very cheap coffee

Normally I don't write reviews but this was so bad I had to. The coffee didn't smell right. It smelled rancid and burnt. But i made a cup and tried it anyways. I took one sip, only one sip. Yuk... There wasn't a date when this was roasted so idk if it just went bad siting in some warehouse or if something else was wrong. I mean even if it was old, iv had old coffee before and coffee dug up from an Aztecan burial ground preserved in the blood of the innocent children they sacrificed to the sun God would have been better this this. Holy cow this was bad. Iv drank some really questionable coffee in my day (like scraping the mold off the top of old coffee grounds and making coffee out of it when i went through a bad life period cuz I needed caffeine) and iv only ever throw away 2 cups, this was one of them. It tasted like I was drinking rancid burnt dirt water someone peed in like 12yrs ago and was let to fester in the Arizona sun. Idk even know how a company could even make something so horrible. Luckily my dad puts coffee in the garden so now the plants get to enjoy the lovly abomination supposedly called coffee. Honestly, id rather drink mushroom 'coffee' and that stuff is worse then pond water. Lastly, my cat loves to eat coffee beans, she goes bananas for them, like she digs the coffee grounds out of the trash can and I have to stop her, coffee is her catnip. I tried to let her smell one of these beans to see what she thought and she smelled it, made a gagging face, and immediately walked off. So even my cat who has never ever turned down a coffee bean refused to even smell this more then once. So idk.... Will not buy again. I guess I will just go back to drinking my acidic tummy hurting coffee that actually tastes and smells good .... Now I am waiting to see if I will be on the toilet for the next few hours cuz of that one tiny sip....i really hope not .... Wtf

First off, the House Blend has nearly no flavor on its own. I make my coffee in a french press and I like strong coffee, so I already knew a low acid coffee would be underwhelming. Honestly, this one tastes like rainwater. On the other hand, I struggle with recurrent UTIs and urinary tract irritation, so I really need to be drinking low acid coffee. I just don’t want to cut coffee out of my life! I mix these beans with strong dark roasts I know I like and it does help, I just wish this one had more flavor so I could drink it on its own.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: As a previous owner of a coffeehouse, I like to try different coffees. This was a happy surprise!

I have GERD and a hiatal hernia. This is the only coffee I can tolerate. I even travel with it, it's so good.

Bad taste, beans roated too hard for my automatic espresso maker.
