Great LED grow light for beginners.
This is the 2nd one I have purchased as first one works so well.

High quality
For the price, this COB LED light is the best on Amazon. The materials used on the case are top grade, and the light output is great. I've been using it for about a month, with no problems. The one complaint I have is the noise level of the fan, but with my other fans running its drowned out. Would recommend, and considering buying another light from this brand.

Overpriced Relative to Other "High End" LED lights
Amazon, why can’t I add photos here? Figured I'd give this light a go as their website was pretty good looking and they seemed to have mostly great reviews everywhere. Upon receiving the light I was intially quite let down at the build quality. The heat sink was extremely rough cut, saw marks clearly visible and aluminum trimmings still in between the sinks. The body of the light also does not really line up well, and frankly the whole thing feels kinda chintzy for a $250 light. Its relatively loud with the onboard fan, and frankly does not run all that cool either. The inability to adjust the wattage was a major draw back for me in a small space, too. Also reached out to CLW to get the efficacy, and the responded with "We haven’t done those tests on this fixture as it is our entry level model". Are you kidding? Nope. Ended up going with an HLG 225 and have been extremely pleased with it. Trying to upload photos of the build quality complaints above, but cant find the upload button.

This unit is designed for a small grow tent but gets too hot for a small grow tent
The unit appears to be well made and well balanced. You'll need 3 lanyards to raise/lower and level it. My problem is, the unit gets too hot for a 2'x2'x5' grow tent, even with a newly purchased 395 CFM 6" inline fan, at full blast. Even with every port in the grow tent open (serious light leak problem!), the temperature in the tent rose to over 78 degrees. The house ambient was 73 degrees. If you live in a cool area like Seattle or Portland, you probably wouldn't mind the extra heat in your house. I live in California and will experience several days of temperatures in the 100s. Meaning, I could use this light from November until March and then forced to switch to something much cooler.

Great light extremely bright
So far 3 weeks in and it’s great. Using it to grow hot peppers in a 2x4 area. It does get a little warm but only drops the ambient temperature down by 6-8 degrees Will update if results change.
