Good Steps!!!
This was a replacement steps for our 3 Westie dogs. The last steps were quite similar. It was very hard to find nice steps out in the market place. These steps are sturdier and more improved than my original black steps. These are also black, and universally match any decor (which is a plus). The only negative is the step size. It states a 6" step, as one approaches it. Actually only the top step is 6", and the other 2 steps are only 5 1/2" out. This makes it hard for the dogs to get up them at first. They tripped and kept falling off of them. I thought I would have to return them, as they already "had step experience". However, the steps were in front of a window. They heard the mailman, and ran up the steps and down without an issue. Now all worries are gone. I would suggest the manufacturer continue making these steps, but make sure each step coming out gives "our little loved ones" a good 6" step for them (as stated in the ad). They will sell many more of them.

My dog is too long! But a beautiful product!
My chihuahua mix (-ed with whatever passed by that day 0.o?), has a longer back than one’s typical chihuahua, I have come to learn.Had not really analyzed the situation till I had already purchased these pet stairs, and he literally couldn’t use them despite his ample gymnastics training. He simply is too long.Having looked at Multiple pet stairs, many seem to be of similar dimensions. My pupps can do outdoor stairs pretty well, when not injured from the balance beam (curb), or vault (jumping). These stairs are made very nicely, and I was quite pleased with their finish.I don’t know how one figures out the right dimensions per pupp, but I think I will be needing to consult a Vet, then find a Contractor to whip-up some long-back chihuahua friendly pet stairs, lol.

An essential tool for our dog
Very useful steps for our little dog (10 lbs). He could not get up on the bed without it. It’s given him a great sense of freedom. Picked this because it had the smallest footprint among those I checked, which was necessary because of the cramped space we needed it in. Well made with lightly carpeted steps. It can be made to lie flat but only by separating the brace that holds it upright. So I would not call it foldable. But we keep it up all the time, so it’s not a real problem. You put the two pieces together; no other assembly required.

Great but involved some work
This pet stair looks very nice, but was very wobbly and slid all over my wooden floors, which was dangerous for my puppy going up and down. I managed to fix the wobbles with gorilla glue and also glued nonslip pads to the parts that touch the floor. Now it’s fantastic, but it took some work to get there.

Steps are not deep, fabric covering is quite thin
We got these stairs to help our toy poodle get onto a high bed. We have another set of cloth covered foam steps, but they're kind of ugly - we liked these because they do look like furniture. However, she just sat and barked at them. The step treads are not as deep as the others, and the fabric covering seemed to be hard for her to get much traction on. I finally got an idea to cover the steps with a towel, and then she happily ran up and down. That kind of defeats the "fine furniture" appearance, though.

Looks good in picture but
Steps are made of wood, but they are VERY steep and hard to climb for small dogs. The back brace of the stairs are just a slide in between 2 blocks of wood. Any time you want to move the stairs for cleaning, the back falls out and collapses the stairs. You MUST hold on to the back brace while situating them back on the floor. Would have expected better for the money they cost.

Great Steps
These are the perfect little steps for a small dog. I have a 6lb morkie and it's just the right size for him, however he does not use them, but not because of the product! They are super easy to assemble and also tuck away when not in use. They look nice too. The dark wood adds a more sophisticated look to the stairs. I didn't give them 5 stars because of the price, but apparently pet steps are pricey!

Great dog stairs
Got these for pudgy little Maltese that is not a jumper. These came through for what drew me to them. They take up less space (steeper) but not too steep for her. They are also a lot nicer than the plastic stairs and blend well with the couch. Also study and don't creak! They fit just perfectly into that couch nook.
