FOUND: Behavior changing leash!
On the first, the second and even the third outing with my border collie mix, this leash produced amazing and instant results!! I am not 100% sure if my dog is just afraid of the new kind of "tug" she gets instead of the pull back from me when she goes to run after a rabbit or squirrel while I am walking her - but she doesn't do it anymore, so far! I don't like choke or spike collars---and I won't do any "shock" treatment to my dog. Next, it also seemed more gentle on MY own bones and joints when they are not being snapped from my body! Hey---my dog IS trained!!! But, sometimes I DO let her chase---I know its my fault. When I use it, this leash gives her a quick, yet gentle reminder of her training though and she has behaved on it so far! I might get another one for my 75 yr old dad to use because he likes to walk her too and I don't want him to worry if she tries to chase and bring him down.

Mixed feelings
I bought two of these for my dogs, after being diagnosed with tendonitis. I bought them in July of 2013. One is still working well but, sadly, the second one broke, with the leash coming completely off of the piece that attaches the leash to the collar. What a disappointment and scary for me as I had to chase down my beagle. The leashes don't help them stop pulling in the least but do absorb the shock when they do.

Takes the jerk out at the end - and saves both the human and the pup from that sharp tug - saved my back
It saved my back. I mean - It really did. It takes the jerk out of the tug when the dog randomly darts off in a different direction and makes the jerk and pull at the end better for both the human and the pet.I won't walk my dog without that leash. It saved my back and joints in that regard.

My sister has been telling me to buy one love it my arm stays in place when the dog pulled it is wonderful... I think it has saved my shoulder

Perfect!
I absolutely love this leash!!!We had a similar one gifted to us over 5 years ago and was hoping I could find something similar. Its exact6what we were looking for!

Didn't like it.
the leash is too heavy and doesn't have the "give I thought it would. I won't use it, so I've wasted my money. I'lll just wait and give it to someone who might like it. I should' have bought it. It was also too expensive, as I've seen others like it for a third of the price.

I love this leash.
I have two very strong dogs that weigh sixty pounds each. A few months ago I bought two of these leashes for my furbabies. Now I can handle both my dogs without having my arms practicully ripped off when they see a squirrel. The leashes absorb the shock and my dogs are not able to pull me down the street.
