TEA DUNKERS Silicone Leaf Handle and Drip Tray Loose Leaf Long Handled Tea Infuser Strainers GREEN

The design is very cute, and it is easy to pop the infuser open and closed, however fruity looseleaf teas that have large components don't seem to steep well (ie: chopped dried fruit pieces). Perhaps this is because the holes are extremely small, or maybe the infuser itself is too small to hold enough of the herbal tea to result in a strong flavor. I really wanted to love these, and it may be fine for plain 'leaf only' looseleaf tea, however the teas I have tried with this come out weak each time I used this (peach and blueberry herbal blends). I did try the same tea mix with a mesh infuser that rests along the top of the cup and that tea was strong and flavorful after steeping, so I know it wasn't the tea itself.

Love this tea infuser! It's super cute and can hold a good amount of tea leaves. The silicone also makes it really easy to wash and clean, I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and there's still no sign of tea stains at all even though all I really do is rinse it over with water. The holes are just the right size, very little tea leaves come out of them unless I'm drinking something with especially small leaves like rooibos. It seems pretty durable too, I've only had this for a couple of weeks so I can't say for certain but I do feel like I'd be able to use this for a very long time.

I didn't use it for very long because I discovered I'm not a tea fan. I tried to do a detox cleanse.. HAH. Anyway, it seems to work but I had little tea leaf particles that woukd slip through the holes and I didn't like that for texture reasons. The holes could probably be a bit smaller. I'm no tea expert though!

Very cute, just wish it was mesh unread of holes punched in the metal, doesn't allow for good water flow through the tea. It's a very cute decoration on my kitchen window sill now.
