Excellent product. Lights are perfect and add so much to the room. I used them in a remodel of my 14 x 24 livingroom. 8 lights around the perimiter of the room directed at artwork and a large entertainment center. They changed the entire look of the room for the better.

These work well- though this unit was defective
I returned this because it was defective. But I've purchased the same units at Home Depot- and they works great. Looks like a high-end halogen fixture. Gives off a lot of light with only 30 watts, and is dimmable. I bought this because I thought that Home Depot didn't carry the model I originally bought, but they just replaced it with a slightly different model. The new unit seems even more energy efficient or it has some capacitors in it, because when you turn the new ones off, you can still see the center being lit for a few seconds. The new ones have a bit of a protective polymer bubble over the LED. The original ones didn't have that. So aesthetically, not as nice when off in my opinion, but when they're on, you can't tell the difference.

Nice unit, although it is not an issue with the unit if there is a draw on the same line as the lights every now and then I get a light that 'flashes'. Since I am never looking at them at the time, and I have 15 of them on three lighting circuits, it is difficult to pinpoint if it a single unit or multiple.

Work great. Excellent price.
These have been performing well. Commercial Electric has been a good, low priced brand at Home Depot for many years. It looks like they're phasing this brand out for the much more expensive Halo brand, but I've always find Commercial Electric stuff to be reliable.

Love the look!
These lights are small but still put off a ton of light. They look great in my kitchen!

too white for a living room.
for a living room application I think the color temperature is a touch too white. I love the gimbaled lights in every other way but the light is too white for my living room. I am going with the T40 units which are not gimbaled but emit a 2700K light temp instead of 3000K Update: After a lot of debate I ended up keeping these lights because they are gimbaled with the advantage that we could direct the light to accent the room's fireplace and various pictures on the walls. I simply cut out a small disks of yellow mylar film (which cost almost nothing) to place over each light which lowered the whiteness a notch. The final and best solution was to put a dimmer switch in and this really helped in all respects. I still believe they are a tad too white but we ended up being able to solve the problem in two very simple ways. So far after 6 months of use no problems with any of the 14 lights we installed.
