This waterproof messenger bag has literally, no equal. It's not only extremely comfortable, it is highly durable, very spacious, light weight, completely water resistance(I live in Pittsburgh. When it rains it, it rains a flood), has this tactical durable comfort mesh for back and shoulder support, and it looks great.If your going to get a waterproof messenger backpack, this is the best you'll get for the buck. I'm not being biased. I usually buy my tactical gear from 5.11 but I wanted something for rainy weather and this was just the cherry on top of the cake.

Product functions as per the description. Good quality, design and relatively comfortable.Minor nuances: The outer pocket is a bit small and doesn’t work well if it and the main compartment are fully packed. Main compartment being only accessible from the top makes it hard to access smaller items that tend to fall towards the bottom.

UPDATE #2: i've had this bag for 2 years and it is my favorite bag. No issues at all.UPDATE: THIS IS AN AMAZING BAG. First and foremost - the loops of my flawed bag never ripped beyond the initial two (so ended up working out decently), but regardless A-Lab reached out to me with incredible customer service and let me know that they have since updated their stitching. I have the new bag and have to say it is exceptional, especially for the price. I have biked through some intense rainstorms and everything stays perfectly dry and the mud splatter stains come off easily with a wet cloth. This bag is as good as similar bags that cost 2-3x as much, if not better. I cannot recommend A-Lab products enough. Awesome company and awesome product.OLD REVIEW: I am a graduate student with no car and use a bicycle as my primary transport so a durable, waterproof bag is essential. I really wanted to like this bag - it is comfortable, a very good size, and the waterproofing material looks effective (it's been a dry summer so far, no big test yet). Within two days of my purchase, however, the stitching on the front loops (where you hook the strap down to close the bag) came undone. The following day, the next loop up ripped and I could tell it would slowly progress upward until there were no loops available.I returned the product and got a new one hoping that this was a flawed unit. The next bag lasted longer, but unfortunately after a couple weeks of regular use the lowest loop stitching came undone. A few days later, the second loop up the bag ripped and unfortunately I am out of my product return window. I can already see the next stitching up coming undone.I use this bag daily and open/close numerous times (I am a student), but especially with the second bag I did my best to use it carefully, avoid over-tightening & over-stuffing, and I don't believe I was doing anything outside of ordinary expected use.The loop stitching is the only flaw I could find in this bag so far (I really like it otherwise!), but unfortunately it will render the bag useless unless I can improvise a solution. If they can improve upon this issue I think it will be a great bag but I felt obligated to leave a review as it looks like a relatively new product to Amazon and is an important category for bike commuters. I think it may be a good bag for minimal usage, but if you need a daily bag I do not recommend it in its current design.The first two photos are my first bag, and the third photo is of my second bag.

Have had my backpack for a while now and the zipper covers and several areas on the seams are beginning to deteriorate. The waterproof material, also, gets scratched and dirties easily. The padding along the shoulders shows “fuzz” and is also beginning to deteriorate.This bag is also pretty big, even with a 15” laptop in it. I do like the roll top design though.

I had been searching for a new bag for work and I happened to come across these A-Lab backpacks. It doesn't rain much where I am, but it worked out perfectly the few days it poured rain shortly after receiving my bag. The laptop sleeve makes it nice to keep my laptop and/or iPad secure while on the go, but still leaves plenty of room for chargers, note pads and other accessories.The way the bag closes and is sealed leaves me with no doubt that my stuff will be dry if the bag gets wet. Even the smaller front pocket with a zipper works perfect and is enough to store my mouse, phone charger and other cables.The handle on the side makes it convenient to carry when I don't wan to wear it was a backpack.My only wish is that there were maybe some smaller additional pockets on the inside, so long as there is no compromise for letting water in. If it gets dirty, you just simply take a wet cloth and wipe it clean. No stains!I highly recommend this or any of the A-Lab bags, whether you are on a bike, in the office or something that will stand out in the sea of backpacks that all look the same.

I needed a replacement for my previous bag (won't mention the brand, another rolltop) and a friend recommended this bag. I'm happy she did because this is a great bag for the price! Have been using it on my daily commute to work and it hasn't disappointed. I really like the simplicity and the matte black texture of the fabric. The straps are padded and comfy, so is the back panel. The front pocket fits bike lights, wallet, keys and other small gear and the main compartment is large enough for a set of clothes, lunch, laptop, etc... I'd recommend this to others based on the price point and that it's somewhat unique looking, too. Haven't cycled in a massive downpour yet but tested in the shower as I was curious how it would hold up and the interior stayed completely dry, so I am confident that this will be my go-to bag for a while after testing messenger slings and other brand's bags. Probably won't use it to haul home a week's worth of groceries but it's the perfect size for my day to day needs and is very comfortable while riding as it doesn't restrict my head's movement or slide up and/or down on the back.

Great bag, did a lot of reading to make sure I got something waterproof and big enough for laptop and papers, or for a quick trip to the shops. This bag stands up to the west coast weather - really like it.
