Wonderfully soft, environmentally friendly foam soap pod..Brilliant!
When I ordered this refill pod, it was just for the pod but I received a bottle as well. You need the bottle to be able to use the pod so I guess Clean Revolution was just making sure I had a bottle. Anyway, I now have the extra one in the guest bathroom as well. Love it! Thanks Clean Revolution for sending a bottle too!! Oh, and the packaging of the pod and bottle was amazing. Each was placed inside a separate cloth bag with a pull string closure to keep them safe during shipping. Very well done.I do like the fact that this is an eco-friendly soap which is plant-based, non toxic and biodegradable, somethings the environment can deal with.I had ordered this pod to go with the bottle I already had that takes the pods. I like the idea of the pods instead of having to store an extra bottle or 2, or even having those huge refill bottles. These pods are small and each pod makes 6, 12oz bottles, totaling 72 ounces. A lot less plastic too!It is easy to use..just twist the opened pod onto the bottom of the bottle, turn the bottle upside down and press the disc button on the bottom of the pod to release soap to the fill line. Turn the bottle right side up and very slowly fill the bottle with water..done! You have a nice attractive 12 oz bottle of foaming hand soap which is soft and smooth plus leaves my hands feeling that way too and I love the fresh clean scent.

not drinking the Kool-aid yet on whether this sulfate-containing soap is better for the environment
For those who are sensitive, this soap contains both sulfates (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) and perfume. Also, I have some doubts about the efficacy of foaming hand soap vs. regular soap. Some studies have shown that washing hands with foaming hand soap is not as effective as regular liquid or hard soap washing. The "Forest Escape" scent was just okay, it doesn't smell particularly like a forest to me, but it a vegetal scent, and I had a friend who visited and said it smelled a little like weed. The soap is not too drying on the hands due to the glycerin that it also contains. It's a decent value, too.The soap smells okay. I got both a dispenser and a pod, which come with clear instructions. It's easy to set up, and the dispenser is pretty neutral in appearance. The dispenser works well without much pressure being needed. As for environmental claims, this is a fun dispenser and soap pod pack, but I'm not super-convinced that it's better than having just having a regular, reusable soap dispenser and then just buying gallon jugs of your favorite soap. The dispenser is plastic and so are the pods. Really, the company's argument and it's "innovation" gimmick rests on the fuel costs of shipping liquids. I sort my plastic in recycling, so I'm not so convinced that it makes a huge difference -- the water itself is going get used anyway.

Easy to use and foams very well (bottle is sold separately)
Please note that the concentrate refill (this product) is sold separately from the actual soap dispenser bottle. The dispenser is currently $6.50, so all totaled, it's about $16 to start with six bottles full of soap. That's not a bad price in and of itself, but every time after that, it's cheaper because you already have the dispenser.I think that this soap works really well. It's easy to set up. You screw this refill pod on to the bottom of the dispenser, push on the pod to fill up a small pocket in the dispenser up to the fill line, then slowly add water to the dispenser to fill it up. Voila - a full dispenser of soap. The foaming action works very well, too. I've always avoided foam soaps because I bought some in the past and got more than one dispenser that just stopped working before the soap was gone, so I got fed up with them. So far, though, this one is working great.I'm pleased with this, for sure, and I'm glad that I gave it a try.

Generous foam and refreshing scent
The Clean Revolution Foaming hand soap refill pod in the Forest Escape Scent has a wonderful smell that is crisp and refreshing. It foams easily and has a generous lather. It cleans my hands quickly and does not strip them of moisture. The pod is made of very soft plastic and I accidentally bent the pod inwards when trying to fill the soap container the first time. Over time, the pod popped back out and fixed itself. I did not find it as easy to push fluid into the container but eventually was able to fill the soap dispenser. The bottom pod could be made of stronger plastic to ensure it does not dent if too much pressure is applied. Replacing screw the pod in, turn the container upside down, and then push the bottom of the pod. I like the aroma of the Forest Escape and would order again in this scent and others.

No bacon grease!
We gave this soap a good 2 week test. The concept seems good and eco-friendly. But maybe too eco-friendly.We made some BLT's which always leads to messy, greasy hands. Unfortunately this soap did not remove it. I even tried 6 full dispenser fulls in my hand. Nope. Nada. Still greasy. If we put a soap out on the kitchen sink we expect to handle most everything our grimey hands can throw at it. Sadly, this soap failed the bacon grease test.

Easy to use
This is the soap refill component. You will also need the special dispenser to make this system work. This pod contains hand soap concentrate. Follow the simple instructions, dilute the soap with the proper amount of water, and you will get 6 refills out of this. The soap cleans effectively and smells good. This is a more environmentally friendly solution to the pump hand soap container.
