Excellent product, good price

This dry dex spackle is incredibly easy to spread, and a little truly goes a long way. Buying the gallon size was an incredible value since I had a lot of work to do around the house! It does a fantastic job with crack filling, holding up beautifully whether you are patching up small nail and screw holes or tackling larger size gaps. Once it fully cures, the durability is excellent—it holds its shape without shrinking or cracking down the line. ​It dries fast, and the pink-to-white color-changing feature is a lifesaver. While it's pink, it serves as a great visual reminder to be careful and not accidentally run into it! That said, even after it turns white, I’d still recommend giving it a few days to fully cure before touching or sanding it. ​My only real warning (more of a reminder to be mindful than a true complaint) is about the lid. Because it's a big gallon bucket, you must ensure the lid is on completely tight. If you have a hammer, utilize it to seal the edges just like you would with a paint can. If you don't get a perfect seal, the leftovers will dry up on you or turn into a strange consistency that makes it much harder to use and spread next time. ​Overall, it's a reliable, durable product that is well worth the money if you have a big project to tackle!

I use this spackle for so much and LOVE it! I do a lot of renovations and always use this brand for patchwork, but wanted to include my latest creation with this spackle - a textured canvas! I love the versatility of this product, how well it does its job, and that it shows you when it’s ready to be sanded - turning from pink (not ready) to white (ready)! It’s easy to use and always a great value - highly recommended!

Great for patchwork. Goes on smoothly and pink. Dries quickly and white. It is easy to sand and easy to clean up. It ys slightly more expensive than other options but well worth it.

As a handyman, it is the only spackle I use for small drywall repairs. One application and most of the time I wet-sand flat before texturing. Fast drying if applied thin. For deeper voids, use 5min mud first.

Package arrived busted but product was good quality. Fries quickly sands easily. Minimal cracking
