Great, once I had all the parts
Duro-Med Shower Tub Stool Since my recent foot surgery, I haven't been able to stand for my showers, so this tub seat has been a huge help. It is sturdy and a good size for a normal-size bathtub. The legs are pretty easily adjustable, too. It's sturdy, so I always feel safe when sitting on it.My main complaint is that the box didn't come with half the screws and other assembly equipment it was supposed to contain. This must happen a lot, as the instructions said to contact the manufacturer directly if any parts were missing. Amazon is not to blame for this; Duro-Med is. And of course, I was trying to assemble it on a Sunday afternoon before my surgery, so no one was available to take my call. I just figured out the length of screws I needed, and picked up those and a few other items needed for the seat's assembly from Home Depot--no big deal, just an annoyance.Learn from my experience: if you need this for the recovery period after a surgery or other procedure, you might want to order it at least a week or two ahead of time to give yourself time to buy any missing equipment (or get the company to send it to you).

great stool but rusting feet
I purchased this stool in May. I had a stress fracture in my leg and needed something to sit on in the shower. The stool was easy to assemble and quite sturdy. I loved this little stool and used it regularly even after my leg healed.Today I noticed there were rust marks on the shower floor from the legs of the stool. I removed the rubber feet and discovered that the metal washers inside the feet were all rusted. A call to the company (customer service telephone number conveniently located on one of the legs) has resulted in a new stool being sent to me.Before using the replacement stool I will have to look at the rubber feet and see if there is something that can be done to prevent the metal from rusting again. If not for the rust I would give this little stool 5 stars.I received a new stool from the company. They did not want the old stool back. Before I used the new stool I went to our local ACE hardware and purchased 4 stainless steel fender washers of the same outer diameter as the original metal washers. It is now three years later and my stainless steel washers have not rusted at all. It's a pity the company did not use stainless steel washers to begin with.

Great little shower stool
I read the reviews on this shower stool and decided to give it a try. I've had it for about a month now in a micro sized RV triangular shower. In the smallest showers like mine anything will get in the way to a certain extent. This stool is about as small as it can be and still be useful. The adjusting telescoping legs are easy to adjust and allow you to get the height just right. It is very sturdy for it's size and I'm 6"-2" and 210 lbs. My only improvement suggestion would be a little more of a non-skid texture on the seat (carefull when it gets soapy). It appears the manufacturer may have made a few improvements from some of the reviews I read. The stool goes together now with hefty thumb screws into brass enclosed nuts. It is quite steady when correctly assembled and the screws tightened. The rubber feet are oversized and grip well without really sticking to the floor like a true suction cup. Allowing for the fact that me and the stool make a crowd in my shower, I'll be enjoying this convenience for a long time.

Shower Stool
After having surgery on my leg and ankle I was unable to bathe with my cast. My husband order this stool hoping this would enable me to at least shower. We had some problems with the 1st one that Amazon cleared up immediately within a couple of days the 2nd one arrived. He put it together and I immediately took a shower sitting on it and loved it. I was able to lay my leg on the side of the tub and wrap it with the shower curtain to keep my cast dry. It's very sturdy didn't have any problems with it sliding or making me feel insecure. Although I no longer have a cast I'm still not able to put weight on my leg and continue using this stool. For the price you can't possibly go wrong. One thing I do want to mention the tag says to use plastic and metal washers to secure the legs . There was no plastic washer and that concerned us but my husband contacted the manufacture and was informed it didn't need them so either it has the wrong tag or a misprint.

Not considering the trouble and time getting it.
All I can say about the little stool is that it is exactly what I wanted....small, compact, easy to put together and seems to be sturdy enough for it's size. Getting it was a nightmare and another story. At the beginning they said it wouldn't be shipped for two weeks which I didn't understand, but still ordered because it was the stool that I wanted. That time came and went....still no stool. It still showed on Amazon as available. Finally, (after several weeks) I called or I still wouldn't have it. I was told it was out of stock with the original supplier and this was a different supplier. I'm mad that I was never contacted. I had to cancel the first order and reorder and it came within days. DO NOT just sit and wait like I did. If it doesn't arrive in a few days, something is wrong. That goes for Amazon anything. They are normally so fast to deliver. I hope I was just an oversight. The first one was even actually suppose to be shipped directly from Amazon, I believe. Why didn't they contact me and tell me that I was NEVER going to get my stool?
