I liked the story
I liked the story. I didn't agree with a lot of the theological points in it, such as God and Allah being one and the same, cause they're not. The Bible and the Quran's descriptions of God and Allah respectively, are totally different. But I get why, for the sake of the novel, they were considered the same. Even though early, he said that God and Allah weren't the same, later on he did, say they were the same. I think it's a story like the Bible, of redemption. You can redeem yourself through God and through Christ. King Richard had slaughtered thousands of Muslims in his quest to re-gain Jerusalem, but God knew he could redeem himself if he could just save 1, his biggest enemy. If you can save your enemy for God, you can do all kinds of good.

AN IDIOT'S TALE: The Lost Writings of Rapunzel
I found it to be a rather awkward read. Seem to jump around a lot. I wanted more depth to the characters and perhaps more detail as to the historical period.

A tale from the last crusade - would be better title
A reasonable tale about an adventure between the two great foes of the Crusades and 'just' held my attention as it only covered a minor part of the whole story..

Quick read
A bit of literary license - a what-if to history; was an alternative look at a very brutal time in history.

Not for me
Sorry, but I could not get into this story. Maybe I should not be reviewing this book. It was just too depressing a story for me.

Another great read
Received this one free but I would have paid for it. Another great novel, a great twist on the historical gaps during this time period. Was surprised it was a stand alone however she did leave it open if she wanted to add another novel to this one.

Terrible
I know this is a fiction, but it's a lame one, obviously written by some Christian with a superficial idea of Islam. For one; Muslims don't believe in the Holy Grail, in fact, they believe it's a blasphemy! Total waste of time.

king aplenty
I Thought this was a very good, satisfying and very quickly read book. This is a one sitter. Liked the take of the story and will read more by this author.

Disappointing
This is a story that had a lot of potential. What spoilt it for me was the dialogue (just read the first page) and the fact that it seemed incredibly rushed - what could have been a full-length novel squeezed into a novella.Disappointing.

Dreadful mistakes
Why is every second or third page a repeat.I bought a lot of your books on recommendations and also because they are all subjects that interest me.I have just started (The Spear of Destiny)and hope the same thing doesn't happen. The Last Crusade is unreadable
