Kids Vitamin D Drops

My toddler has a cow milks protein allergy so we know he’s not getting adequate vitamin d intake. Our pediatrician recommended a supplement and recommended this one by name. It’s great! One drop is all he needs daily. He enjoys taking it and will remind me every morning to add it to his breakfast. There’s no smell or taste. It doesn’t add anything at all to his food in regard to smell or taste or texture. It’s just like adding a drop of water. No complaints at all!

These aren't cheap but they aren't much different from other kids vitamin d3 supplements on the market. I get these because I like that they are 600 IUs which is higher than the baby D drops of every brand, but not as high as adult doses. I feel it's the perfect dose for my kids that aren't yet teens to keep their vitamin d levels up. I deducted a star because when you first open them, the drops come out crazy fast and it's difficult not to waste them, but as you use them for a week or so it takes f o r e v e r to get the drop to finally come out of the bottle and my kids are just standing there with their mouth open and head back for what feels like an eternity while the drop forms and finally falls out in the right dose in their mouth. Sometimes we do it on the back of their hand and they lick it off, but still they're kids and in a rush and don't want to wait 3 minutes for a vitamin drop to fall lol! Then when it is 3/4 if the way gone forget about it...I just order a new bottle at that point and pry of the lids and pour what's left of the old one into the new one- way easier mom hack! It doesn't taste like anything and it's one thing none of my kids have ever fought taking because it's not "gross", though, so that's a major plus.
