Added this to paint, left wall lovely and glittery, easier to use using a brush than a roller, good value for money and left with a great effect, although you do need quite a lot, depending what you are looking for, I used nearly 2 packets for 2.5L of paint. Would buy again.

Very glittery

Used this on a feature wall, added to pale grey paint. Applied first coat with a brush but it was patchy. I also tried 'buffing' but found it made the paint look grubby, rather than enhancing the glitter. I did a second coat with a small roller & the glitter was a lot more even, giving the desired effect. Glitter is subtle but catches the light beautifully. I didn't 'buff' but am happy with the result. I didn't post a picture as I don't think it does the product justice.

Hi, thanks for taking your time to read this review, i hope it helps you, if it does please do give it a 'helpful' rating.First of all, you must be looking for paint glitter because you either want your walls to look extra WOW or because you're daughters been bugging you for shiny wallpaper, well in both these cases, this oaint glitter is great.Its extremely simple to use, so does not really need instructions, just common sense, you can either mix it youself, just add it to any paint you're using, wether is be matt paint or another and give it a realy good mix to ensure the glitter is spread out across the whole volume of paint, then like a normal paint, just apply to your walls.It gives this glittery look when a light shines to it, but be aware, if you're painting a large room or a medium sized room, you might need more than one for a large paint tub, because sometimes in large volumes of paint, one packet is not enough to make a noticeable difference on your walls, so it could be a waste, do read instructions on website and it shows you how much to add tvo a certain ML of paint,.Overall, I think this paint glitter is great for all kinds of paintwork, wether it be an office, a study or a bedroom, its good for everything, and adds that extra wow factor.

I bought this after reading rave reviews. I have to say I think some of the reviews are fake. I am an experienced decorator and do everything as per the book so to speak. I wanted to create a subtle glimmer in the alcove wall of my bedroom where the bed goes and has spotlights (I thought that these would enhance the glitter but they do not). I didn't want to re-paper again as its expensive and time consuming so thought I would just paint over and use this stuff. All I can say is that it is actually a lot of money for the effect it achieves.Firstly you will only notice this when a light or the sun is on it and even then it is hard to see at all. During normal daylight you wont notice it at all. I painted my wallpaper with three coats of white to make sure there were not patches. I then purchased a cheap thin emulsion to mix this with so that it would show up more. The first coat was actually not too bad but still not what i would say noticeable. I then purchased a second packet and went over it again, sadly all this has done is actually cover up the first coat so now I cant see anything at all. £16.00 is actually a lot of money for something that has no effect all. I wish really I had just invested £30.00 on a roll of proper glitter paper. Bear in mind also one packet only mixes to 1 litre of pain which is hardly anything at all. Therefore a full room would cost about £60 £70.00 without the paint.When mixing I would say add the paint to a small amount of emulsion at a time. if you pour it on the top of a litre of paint it will only mix to the top of the paint and not the bottom.Personally not impressed at all. Invest in a proper paper which is probably what I am going to have to do anyway now. Not worth the money at all.

Worked perfectly for the project I had in mind. Two tips - keep stirring the paint and follow the suggested ratio of glitter to paint.

Don't expect a full on glittery wall that sparkles like a Christmas card.This is a really subtle glittery effect that is so subtle you could easily miss it.We used a quality silk emulsion and did two coats on the wall. Then, we had approximately 1.5 litres of paint left and poured the whole pack in and stirred it until fully mixed.Using a medium pile roller we did two coats of the glitter paint in thin layers. Initially it was difficult to tell if the glitter was on the wall, especially as it was silk and light was reflecting on it hiding the effect.Once it had dried we stepped back and couldn't see anything! Feeling disappointed we started to consider buying a silver glitter to redo... then we looked at an angle in the sunlight and caught a glimmer of sparkling light... Nice but extremely subtle.We waited until it got dark and put the ceiling light on, excited to see the results... nothing!My daughter then got her phone out, turned on the torch and HEY PRESTO the wall lit up sparkling away.The next step was to experiment with lighting. Using a halogen spotlight, the bright light really brings the white glitter to life.Basically, don't expect in your face sparkling. This white glitter is extremely subtle but with the right lighting has a lovely effect.My daughter is now really pleased to have crisp white walls that glitter when she wants them to.

Ich habe das Glitzer gekauft, um mein WC zu verschönern. Hat problemlos funktioniert. Ich habe für einen 5-Liter-Kübel 2 Packungen Glitzer verwendet, da mir eines zu wenig erschien. Sieht super aus!

Wenn man sich an die Mengenvorgaben von V1rtus hält bekommt man auch den gewünschten Effekt. Ich habe 2 Beutelchen auf 3 l Dispersionsfarbe verwendet. Die Farbe entspricht hellem Beton, daher der schwarze Glitzerzusatzstoff. Bei entsprechendem Lichteinfall sieht man ein leichtes Glitzern, so wie es gewollt war. Ich habe nichts nachpoliert. Ich habe versucht, ein Foto zu machen, aber man erkennt bei direktem Lichteinfall nur dunkle Pünktchen, das Glitzern ist durch den Ton-in-Toneffekt nicht so prägnant.Uns gefällt es sehr gut und ich überlege, weitere Projekte auf diese Art zu verwirklichen. V1rtus wird es merken, denn ich werde bei Bedarf mit Sicherheit wieder dort bestellen.

Personellement j'ai reçu un sachet de bonne qualité je suis très satisfaite , mon mari l'a mélangé dans 2,5 l de peinture (il n'a pas regardé les instructions qui recommandent 1,5l peinture) , mais on voit l'effet (sur le plafon et dans une peinture couleur ivoire comme nous l'avons utilisé ,peut être l'effet n'est pas assez bluffant , mais je vais en racheter d'autres pour les mettre sur les murs et dans des couleurs plus intéressantes - en éspérant de recevoir des paillettes de même qualité ). On l'a mélangé dans une peinture MATTE , je vérifierai ensuite dans une satinée .
