Has voweling on the Persian words
For me, this is just what I need. The Persian-English side has the voweling over the letters, which suits my purposes just fine. Usually I'm reading Persian words and trying to figure out the correct pronunciation, not so much the case that I'm trying to find the Persian translation for an English word. The English-Persian lacks the voweling over the Persian letters, but you can always just jump to the back. I won't add a photo since someone else has already done that.I can understand why someone wouldn't like the font size of the Persian text, but I'm 22, so my eyes work just fine. Some have recommended using a magnifying glass, so I think that would be a good solution of your eyes have trouble seeing the voweling on the Persian text. All in all, as a serious student of the language, it comes in handy rather frequently. Definitely buy it if you plan to learn the language seriously and especially if you do a lot of reading in Persian.

Aryanpur Persian-English and English-Persian Dictionary
This is a fairly good dictionary. Although it has some uneven inking, and the script is tiny, the translations are good. This book is written more for Persian to English translation. If you don't speak Persian and look up a word, it will give you many translations, but not all in the same context. Such as sentence - prison sentence or sentence of words in a book. Also, the English-Persian does not help with the pronunciation. In Farsi the vowels are written above and below the letters, and after 3rd grade, most of the words are understood and these vowels are no longer included in most written script. If you don't already know how to pronounce the word, it makes it difficult. The better book for English to Farsi translation is "An English-Persian Dictionary" by Dariush B. Gilani. However, this book, too, does not include context in the translation, so if you don't know the difference between "sentence" and "sentence", you will make some mistakes. I have not found a good dictionary for someone who has never spoken Farsi before. A combination of the two books listed above will be good for someone who has had a 3rd grade Persian education in the past.

Good value for money
I am going overseas to work and my tutor recommended this book to help with my language lessons. I placed my order and received it within a week, which was great. It was much larger than I was expecting however so it's not the easiest book to carry around. But it is exactly what I was looking for and suits my needs perfectly. A clear and precise guide.

No Farsi Pronounciations & No verb declination
Old "French-English"", "German-English", "Italian-English" and "Spanish to English" dictionaries (even back in the 80s) had verb declinations and pronounciations in both languages. This dictionary one has no verb declinations in either language and only English Pronounciations. More helpful for Farsi readers than for English readers trying to learn Farsi. Also, In the English to Farsi section, there can be several words translating into 1 English word but there is no explanation as to the difference and when one word should be used over another.

Best Farsi English Dictionary
This is the best dictionary of the 5 or 6 Farsi to English dictionaries I've come across. Obviously, the more Farsi you know the easier it is to use. What I like about this dictionary the most is that it has Farsi to English and English to Farsi in one volume. Furthermore, definitions for common words are usually followed by synonyms, related words and contextual examples, sometimes sentences utilizing the word being defined, sometimes common phrases. I don't know of any other Farsi dictionary that does that. This is also the dictionary that the U.S. military uses at the Defense Language Institute. My only complaint is that this is a big book. You wouldn't want to take it hiking, for instance.

The Entire Universe Turns Around MEHER BABA.
Having been born, raised and educated in Iran, with a strong background in Persian language and literature (ancient and modern), I can assure you that you won't find a better dictionary than this one by Aryanpur. I own an old original one printed in 1975, and this Combined New edition, has exceeded my expectations in every way. A true treasure.

A good Farsi dictionary.
As an ESOL teacher I don't speak Farsi. This is the second copy of this dictionary that I have bought. Every student who has used it has spoken highly of the entries and thorough nature of the dictionary. It may not be totally up-to-date as far as idiom is concerned. In case you are wondering why I have a need for a second copy, clearly one of my students liked the first copy so much that they walked off with it. After the annoyance I was glad to be able to buy another copy - and the price was reasonable too!

Comprehensive dictionary for fluent readers of Farsi
Firstly, and this is not a criticism or a recommendation simply something to know, this is a dictionary for Farsi readers. Since I'm just learning it's too advanced for me but I will keep it and hopefully be able to refer to is as I become more fluent. It looks quite comprehensive but as I can't read most of it yet, I can't really comment on the content. One criticism that I do have though, is the font is very small, and in some cases the ink is smudged slightly so that the words that I do know are sometimes difficult to read.
