My son loves this decent size keyboard and good value for money

Great product and very easy to set up; it looks great, and my daughter gets plenty of use and enjoyment from it. As a starter keyboard, this is perfect: not too small and not too big, would even suit an adult wanting to learn. Very happy.

I bought this to keep practicing during lockdown, since the uni's music practice rooms are all closed. I'm an intermediate level pianist. This product is not one of the best keyboards but it's worth the price at least. Since I'm used to a real acoustic piano, the feeling of pressing the keys on this keyboard is not good, as the keys are not weighted, and they don't have that 'bounce back' feeling that real piano keys have......and as we know, playing music often rely on muscle memory, but I keep hitting wrong notes on this keyboard when I apply my muscle memories..... I don't recommend this for a beginner pianist, because once you get used to the touch of these 'cheap' keys, you might have trouble playing on a real piano. I do recommend this for people who are at an advanced level and want to smash some keys when not having access to a real piano, but do not have the money for nicer keyboards. However, if you are just a beginner trying to learn some music theory and play simple tunes, this might be a suitable toy.

Brilliant key board though use head phones if you don't want to annoy everyone around you.

I was looking to buy a keyboard for my 14-year-old, who had five lessons when she was 5 and gave up! She is now showing a keen interest in playing, so a keyboard was perfect for Christmas. My brother - a professional musician - said to buy a keyboard with a minimum of 61 keys that were full size. This basically rules out all the cheaper keyboards! Then this Rock Jam keyboard appeared on Amazon sale - reduced to £50! It is fabulous and will take her happily to the next level (if she persists). I asked her for her review. She said it is a good all-rounder and she is delighted with it. If she was pushed to be negative, the only thing she could say is that unlike professional boards, with weighted keys, the Rock Jam keys are sensitive, so a stray, hovering finger can inadvertently touch a key. But she says you quickly get used to this. So, to sum up, my review is very positive in looks, sound and performance. I would also recommend getting a stand.

I bought the keyboard for myself as a "late learner" who did not want to invest too much money on a keyboard, as I was not at all sure how often I'd end up using it. However, so far, I am really impressed with the keyboard and I am currently regularly practicing on it. The low cost (under £50 on Amazon Prime Day) had me expecting something vary basic and cheap looking, but I was really surprised at the quality, which as well as being a piano keyboard, includes lots of the other instrument options and features. It's a great for a beginner and beyond, though if I continue playing, I may personally upgrade at some point in the future to the larger keyboard My only negative would be that if you play really fast, the odd key can stick a little, but this is not a regular occurrence, and this just may be a slight issue with my keyboard. I also regret not buying the keyboard with the stand and other accessories, as if they are as good quality as the keyboard they would good value for money. There is a voucher for a free online piano course that comes with it. The course is very user friendly and I learnt a great deal. Although, unfortunately, the free trial expired before I had completed it, and if you want to continue you have to pay for membership, which is charged quarterly or annually, and can end up quite costly.

Got this for my son, age 11 who is learning piano. He loves it. It does everything he wants and more. It’s lightweight and easy to move. Can use batteries to keep mobile or use the plug.

Purchased for myself, and after nearly two months with the product, I still find myself just as satisfied with it as I was on day one. There is a wide plethora of sounds that you can get from this, ranging from basses and brass to synths and sitars, each with multiple sub-presets of their own. There is also a full percussion board which can be used in conjunction with the recording function to create your own backing tracks if none of the 300 rhythms on offer please you. With the sustain, transposition and vibrato settings there is even more experimentation to be had. Tones that have been modified with these settings can be saved to memory, which saves time when looking for a custom tone. Volume control is good, and with the headphones jack you can always practice without disturbing others which is great. Some of the tones do sound very, very similar to others to my ears; and some are less useful for actual music making and more geared towards ambience, such as seashore or applause. It's to be expected at 300 tones but there are very distinct groupings of tones anyways, you won't be left wanting more variety with tones. The booklet that comes with the Keyboard lists all the different tones and rhythms so it's easy to navigate and find the tone you want. After two months I haven't noticed any decline in quality in regards to audio and condition so despite its relatively cheap price it is well built. All in all I'd say this Keyboard is well worth the money. With tons of tones and rhythms to choose from in addition to the memory and playback features, this product has great potential as an instrument.
