I have re-written this review after using this product for years.After trying four different models of anti-snore chin straps, I have found that the Respironics is by far the best. In fact, it is the only one that I could get to work properly at all. I have now used this model for at least 10 years with satisfaction.Pros:It is highly adjustable. You can tinker with it in several ways. I found this to be necessary to get it to fit, stay in place, and stop the snoring. For me it was a bit of a crafts project. It helps to get some wide sew-on (not stick-on) Velcro to reinforce the slit that allows adjustment to the back strap.It is comfortable. Care has been taken to cushion the main strap. The chin cup is carefully contoured. Much of the surface is fuzzy material like the soft half of Velcro.In my case, it worked well enough that I was able to stop using a my CPAP machine, checked overnight by my Sleep Lab. (It is sad to see that someone is selling chin straps online, claiming that they can make CPAP machines unnecessary, for over $100.) It may or may not enable you to jettison your CPAP machine. Check with your doctor after perfecting your fit. This review is not intended to be medical advice.Cons:It stretches with time, requiring adjusting every few weeks. Ultimately the cushiony material wears out. They last for a few years. I own three of them that I cycle through, changing every couple weeks.In summary, this is a well-designed, unique product that works as it should, making it unique for me. As with any cloth product used under tension it will wear out.

This chin strap worked for me 100%. I tried other solutions but strap is most effective on me. We all know the benefit of breathing through noses and damage snoring can bring to our health, but keeping my mouth shut all night long doesn't seem like an easy job. I was actually not very interested in the strap idea because it just doesn't look comfortable. Some reviews also said it's hot wearing it. But after other solutions failed, I finally bought this one. And problem solved. And my wife cannot be happier. I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable, I just look odd wearing it. It is a little hot but not enough to wake me up during the night.

While some reviewers reported getting a fake Respironics Premium Chinstrap, mine was definitely the real thing in the orginal Respironics packaging with full labeling on the strap and full printed instructions. All of this was at half the price I paid elsewhere before for the exact same strap.There is no best chinstrap for everyone. I tried a few before I found this one to best for me. It is more comfortable than wider straps, and pulls upward as it should, rather than backwards on the chin. It doesn't need to cover my ears and works. Your experience may vary with mine, but you might want to give this one a try.

I was using another style chin strap and much prefer this one.I purchased two packs of 2 so I have one I keep in my travel bag and three to rotate each week.I use one for 3-4 days and when I wash the sheets once a week, two of these go in the front load washing machine in a mesh zippered bag. I make sure to close the Velcro on each but they can still come undone...so the mesh bag keeps the Velcro from grabbing onto other things in the wash. Then I'll hang them up to dry.As others have said...the small strap goes on top of your head regardless that the photos show otherwise.

I was having trouble keeping a chin strap on my head, it kept moving forward at night. I have very short hair, so that may have been part of the problem. I purchased this one and have been extremely happy with it. I found out after a few nights that I didn't have to wear it as tight as my old chin strap. Too tight and I wore some sore spots into the sides of my head. I loosened it up, and everything is good. No more dry mouth. Very quick turnaround from seller. Will purchase from from seller again when necessary.

I slept uninterrupted for the first time in like forever! I usually wake up multiple times during the night for a glass a water, the bathroom, tossing and turning, etc. Last night I was a sleeping queen!!!! I like my respironics premium chin strap because it is wide enough to fit comfortably under my chin. I can also adjust it so that if it feels loose I can tighten it or if it feels too tight I can loosen it. I like it that the small strap that goes around the back of my head is adjustable and wide enough to have a good grip on the Velcro. I am still trying different ways of adjusting the tightness of it because sometimes I wake up at night with dry mouth. overall. I am satisfied with it.

First of all, this order was fulfilled quickly and correctly, so I am appreciative of that. I tried on the chin strap and my spouse was thinking it was going to be uncomfortable and keep me awake, but it worked well. I did wake up a couple of times, but I don't believe it was due to discomfort. I asked my spouse the next morning if I had snored and the answer was no! I wore it again last night and slept through the night. It seems to work well.
