NOTE: for those who mention their glasses falling... you must hang properly, one leg of the glasses and cross the other leg over the first one and i promise they WILL NOT fall, takes one second and becomes secind nature. ...you can't just hang by one leg (this way of course they will fall).This is the best purchase EVER! ! I was always misplacing my reading glasses to the point where I have lost 2 good designer glasses. I hate the old fashion chain that hangs from your neck and then go up in your face along with the glasses..I saw this concept and thought I'd give it a shot! WOW. .the chain truly looks like an accessory and the glasses DO NOT FALL OFF!! make sure you hang them properly of course. .omg this will save me so much grief! Simple, Elegant Solution for Holding Sunglasses
I purchased these to hold my sunglasses when I am out and about. I use them to hold various sunglasses - Aviators, Wayfarer and Oakleys - and the holders accommodate all of these sun glass styles. I also own a pair of La Loops, which are similar. I keep one set of these eyeglass holders in each of my cars, so that I always have one handy. When comparing the Bolas with the La Loops - I like the Bolas better, since they have a leather strap (La Loop are plastic / vinyl), the ring seems a bit more solid and they are a better value. They even look great when they are not holding any sunglasses.

This is exactly what I was looking for. At home, I like to use a holder that attaches directly to my glasses, but I prefer this one for use in public and is nice and soft against my skin. I rarely wear a shirt with a collar, so I got a sore on my neck when I wore a beaded lanyard. But this bola is the perfect size to hold my glasses and looks classic. My husband took one look and said "Your glasses will fall out of it". I bent over and they stayed right in the circle. I explained to him that it was the perfect size to hold glasses and I chose a color appropriate for either of us. But, no one loses glasses as much as I do. My glasses are small with a frame that is barely visible, so when I set them down, it's hard to see them. Now, I won't need to put them down to read anymore.

Simple, sturdy and does the job!
I've hooked my reading glasses over a necklace for years. I really don't like the "strap" reading glasses holders and my little system seemed to work. For some reason it finally hit me that "maybe someone makes something just for this" and I found the Bolas on Amazon. Yes it's an extremely simple concept (the best ideas are) but it works and I wear and use it everyday. I've owned the one since February 2016 and it's held up well. I can understand the argument that it's overpriced but after four months of continuous use I'm confident it's paid itself off.I notice a lot of folks looking at it when I'm out and about. A few have asked me about it and honestly I started to wonder if I shouldn't buy these wholesale and keep 15 or 20 in my car to sell! I also got complimented on my "cool necklace" when I had forgotten my glasses!If you're on the fence about the money I'd do this simple test. Wear a necklace about the same size and hook your glasses on it for a day. If you like it but think something easier to use and made just for glasses would be nice then go for it. I love mine!

Cheap misleading description, cheap stiff, non straight necklace
The strap appears to be a polymer, not leather. Strap is stiff material and does not lie straight. Like a twisted stiff hose that has not been straightened.Feels extremely cheap. I have three other eyeglass leather hoop that cost half the price with greater quality. Description says leather strap. It feels like cheap stiff polymer. Ice never seen leather that looks like plastic. Description very misleading.

Nice concept ... bjut doesn't work
I called the company before purchasing it and asked if it would work with titanium skinny silhouette frames. They assured me that it would ... It does not! The frames slip out of it almost immediately. I tried another pair, not titanium, but still thin and somewhat delicate. They slipped out, as well. Prescription glasses are too expensive to take a chance ... I suppose it works with heavier frames? I had to take a loss on this one, as I had thrown away the packaging, assuming it was going to work and I loved the concept.

A Great Replacement!
A Great Replacement! The previous eyeglass holder I had was not a bola but I really like this one. No problems with softening the leather. It lays nicely. It would be nice if the length could be a little shorter. I prefer not to have my glasses hanging too low.

Love this item!
I thought since it was so cheap that it would probably not be that great, but I was wrong. The eyeglass stores sell them for $80 so I thought my glasses wouldn’t hang right on this or probably fall off. But this product is just as good as the expensive ones. I recommend the rose gold. It is beautiful! and comes in handy at the veterinary office so I don’t have to put my glasses on my head and have them fall off on a patient LOL
