No more dieting for me
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I'm a skeptic about diets because they usually don't work for me. Then I discovered Metabolism Reset Diet. I started off committing myself for just 7 days. I figured I can do anything for a week. Also, I didn't think my liver would be that clogged--I eat healthier than most of my friends. Well, within a few days, I realized how dependent I was on caffeine and sugar. I ended up losing 2 inches from my waist in just 1 week! I can't wait to see what happens after the full 4 weeks. And it's not only improvements in weight--I feel more focused and have way more energy than before. Who knew the liver was so important to everything in your body? I like this diet so much I bought the hardcover and the kindle. The book is well-written (I read a ton) and it doesn't overwhelm you with too much detail. Plenty of recipes that I plan to use. This is a groundbreaking (for me) way of eating and I plan to follow the maintenance plan after the 4 weeks. No more dieting for me. Just Metabolism Reset when I need it.

Nothing but a protein shake diet
The book is pretty poor, the printing is ugly and the cover is horrendous. About the content, just google protein shake diet for weight loss and that's pretty much it. Two protein shakes per day (breakfast and lunch), and one solid meal for dinner (protein and vegetables and healthy fat), and some unlimited snacks like baby carrots. Very low calorie overall, I estimate. Yes, I have to estimate because the book does not really give all the especific info such as protein quantities and daily calories. The book has some details about the kind of protein powder (pea protein is the recommendation), along with resistant starch powder, implying that the best way is to just buy the "original" shake sold by the author's company. I'm not saying that the diet does not work, I'm sure it does. Imagine four weeks drinking shakes and eating only one solid meal per day, with very low daily calories overal, of course anyone would lose weight. But the book does not bring anything new really, just a few hints on the best choices of protein and vegetables to heal the liver. The author's try to criticize keto diets but at the end of the book he confesses that this shake diet is itself ketogenic, because of the very low calories probably. Well, I did not like the book at all, but to be fair it has a few usefull ideas (almost every book does).

This Works!
This reset diet really works like nothing I have ever tried before. It is only a 28 day program! There is so much food to choose from to fill your plate. You eat carbs, healthy fats, proteins, vegetables, fruits and most importantly lots of Resistant Starch. This book explains how the liver works in a way that is easy to understand and how to make healing changes. I've done the 4 week reset and it really does what it says it will do. I lost over 4 inches around my waist in the 28 days and it stayed off through all the Holiday eating and through way too many fast food meals in the last 3 months. The waist loss is just part of the benefit though. I have more energy, sleep better most nights, have no food cravings and my thinking is clearer. I highly recommend this book. Nothing else has given me these kinds of results.

Easy to follow
I bought this book not intending to follow the diet but to get some ideas and information. I found I couldn't put it down and was so eager to get started on the plan. It was very easy to follow and the food was easy to source. There is a different smoothie for every day of the detox and the dinner recipes were delicious. I am coming to the end of my 4 week detox and can honestly say that I will miss it. I have not been tempted (apart from missing the odd cup of coffee) or hungry on this diet, and I lost 11lb. If you're thinking of trying this book out? Go for it! You won't regret it.

Great book!
Never followed any diet. I feel great after 1 week, didn’t lost weight jut yet but my waist is visibly smaller.I feel happier and energetic.Thank you!

Sounded good and looked good on tv
Really excited to start this diet, cost a fortune to buy the tons of stuff on the shopping list, some sent for off amazon, lots of constant cooking and making shakes, done this for a whole week, then had terrible bowel issues it wasn’t pleasant, so it wasn’t for me, far to much pain, cost and hours in the supermarket trying to find all of the ingredients, then when I thought I had the whole shopping list, the next recipe had the odd thing not on the list 😠annoyingly

It works!!
My husband and I have been following this for 4 weeks now and have noticed our weight loss as have others. We feel a lot healthier and better than before. I would recommend this book to get you back on track.

Buy it!!
Ignore the North Americans/Canadians moaning about this book! It is the best diet I’ve ever ever followed. Simple and easy to follow, really solid easy to make meals full of good nutritional ingredients and you just feel alive with this. You don’t have to pay a lot for stuff like banana flour, you can just bung some green bananas in the freezer. After this being featured recently on TV, I bought the book and it’s great. The chap on TV lost over 2 stone. I’m doing this to clear my liver out after having bowel cancer. There is nothing to hate about this book. It’s simple, clear and full of correct medical advice. Really don’t understand anyone not liking it.
