### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great if you're ONLY walking on ice and snow
*by M***R on January 17, 2026*

I walk 3 miles a day on streets and paved sidewalks. I'm in a very cold climate that recently had a thaw and refreeze, so about 30% of my route is covered in ice. I was looking for something that would work for the different surfaces. After a week with these ice cleats, the metal is worn down and does not prevent me from slipping on the ice. I'm not surprised (just disappointed), but wanted to try them to see if they could tolerate pavement since I couldn't find any reviews that mentioned this. If you are ONLY on snow and ice, these would work great. I will keep searching for the panacea!
