I was very impressed by the quality of construction on this underbust corset. It is boned, with a lace-up back, and metal hook and eye closures on the front. Under the lace up back is a panel, of the same fabric... Allowing the wearer to cover, or expose the shirt, or skin underneath. There is plenty of lacing and panel to adjust the fit.. The garmet seems to run a bit on the small side, but it is a corset, so there is allowance for adjusting fit. I have only tried it on, and have yet to wear it out, so I can not speak as to how it holds up over time. However it is beautiful, and I will be the Belle of the Halloween Ball!!

Wow, I am REALLY impressed with this corset. I honestly thought since it was on Amazon it was going be cheap and poorly made and weak like things you buy at the Halloween costume store. BOY was I WRONG! TLDR: I've owned several corsets in my life and this is by far the nicest, highest quality one. I will definitely shop in this store for corsets in the future. Appearance I wanted something to have a medieval appearance and got a peasant shirt from another location to go with, very similar to the photos on the product (the look what other customers say photos) with the various ladies showing off different sizes. And the look is SO perfect. And the brocade pattern on it is GORGEOUS! Quality Wow, is this thing well made! I LOVE these closures they are FAR better than the hook and loop ones I usually come across and frankly easier to close with long nails. Fit On the fit, I wish I'd trusted myself a little better, and hadn't been a little of an idiot. I am a plus-sized woman 38 DDD, 5'10", about 200lbs. I got really distracted with considering my bust size, even though it doesn't matter given I purchased the underbust style. So I ended up ordering (foolishly) a 3x. I really wish I'd gotten a 1x or 2x instead. With the 3x the straps were a bit too big. Regardless I'm confident that a 1x or 2x the underbust style would fit perfectly, and will be ordering that next time. But I do think if I purchased the overbust probably best to stick with the 3x. Hope this information helps others!

First of all this is a beautiful corset. It gives amazing back support and is well crafted. The biggest issue is sizing. I ordered the large faux leather one first according to the size recommended. The fabric is stretchy and it was too big to create any compression. I ordered the medium in the brocade and it is not stretchy. I was able to get it on but it was too stretched out in the back to look good. I’m ordering the brocade on a large now for the 3rd time with the hope it will fit. I expect this fabric will align with the suggested measurements. Worth all the effort to make it work just be mindful of the faux leather stretchiness if you go with that option

Great for company! Super easy to put on either by yourself or with someone. The quality is acceptable, very sturdy and large chested friendly in my book! The color was a perfect black.

SIZE UP 3 OR MORE SIZES!!!! I am 5’4, 210lbs and originally I ordered a Large (Amazon recommended size) and it couldn’t go over my shoulders. I returned and ordered a 3XL. When it is the right size, it’s sturdy, easy to tie in the back and easy to clip. I think it looks great! Holds everything in place, great color and pattern, and I can sit, stand, or dance in it! Can’t wait to wear to Halloween parties and Renfairs!

This corset is advertised as being steel boned in the description, so I was a little irritated when it came in and it was all plastic. This isn't the first time I've ordered a corset that claimed to be steel boned and wasn't, so I'm disappointed because this isn't what I was looking for. That being said, for what it is, it isn't bad. It would make a great costume piece, but not the best for waist training or support. The fit wasn't too bad, I'm usually an XS and ordered the small, which could've been a little tighter for my preference. If you're looking for just a costume piece, this is a nicer quality than some others I've seen and is pretty comfortable.

This corset was beautiful. The straps were nice and thick. Seemed durable and was a good price , however it runs super small and it didn't fit me. I wear a 1 to 2 xl and this was a 4xl and I think highest was 7 xl.

I was really excited for this corset for Ren Faire this weekend because it was so pretty and the reviews seemed good, but unfortunately they sent me the wrong size not once, but twice. I had to reorder and request a return the first time and I even rushed the order so it would get here on time and I just opened the box to see another wrong size. It would be one thing if it was a one size difference but I ordered a small and it came in a xxl. It looks beautiful and well made, but I quite literally can’t wear it and now I have to scramble to find something else in such a short time period. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with their packaging or what because it has a label that says size xxl but was covered by a size small tag.
