Women's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer

Who would have thought that Amazon would sell exactly what I needed and was looking for? I recently purchased these “New Balance Women's 608 V5 Casual Comfort Cross Trainer” for walking. These sneakers are extremely comfortable. I was very satisfied that Amazon had the New Balance sneakers in a wide width. I am very pleased at their excellent quality and their good arch support. The fit of these sneakers is outstanding and they feel like they are tailored for my feet. I am susceptible to foot discomfort if I walk too much so comfort and support are everything. The sneakers do have a lot of strength and stability. They do run true to size and are a great value for money. Amazon, you achieved something great by endorsing and marketing these New Balance sneakers especially in a wide width! Thank You!!

I love the shoes! For people with wide feet, please get New Balance shoes, and if they have a wide option, choose that. I am a 7.5 in shoes, but I go up a size to 8 for shoes like Nike due to my feet being wide.The box came in smashed, but the shoes were okay. The shoes, I feel, are going to be lightweight, which makes them great for school and walking long distances. I have had New Balance shoes before, which I say I prefer more now. It's light blue color I love because it goes with any outfit. Thank you for this!

These sneakers were recommended to me as a solid transition shoe as I recover from foot surgery. At 8 weeks out I could wear a size 9W which is a size larger than my normal size but allowed me to have room for swelling. I could also get my foot in and out with discomfort…nerves, yes but no rubbing or discomfort. I’m at 11 weeks out from surgery and ordered a size 8.5W - again, a good fit. Toe box is wide enough that my foot has room to move. The shoes is easy to get both on and off which is key right now.The nice price point makes is easier when I need to keep changing sizes. I do think they run TTS as I was an 8.5 (39/39.5) prior to surgery so I’m back where things started. I could probably get into a medium width but for now I like the added space and comfort. It means I can wear them all day even when my foot begins to swell a bit.The shoe is comfortable to wear, has good traction, a thick sole and doesn’t look too clunky or orthopedic. It has a retro feel and goes well with shorts, athletic wear, pants and some skirts.Overall, I like the sneakers. I’m not a huge fan of trainers but these have a little style and I’m happy to have found them.

Unlike cushioned walking or running shoes that compress under weight, these provide a solid, stable base that makes me feel more secure when lifting.Because of that firm construction, don't expect a soft or plush feel. The cushioning is noticeably less than what you'd find in walking or running shoes. The comfort is okay, but that's because the shoe prioritizes stability over softness. The arch support is also fairly minimal.I personally wouldn't recommend these for running since the shoes are quite rigid. If most of your workouts involve walking, jogging, or other cardio, there are more comfortable options available. I love these shoes. There is plenty of support and they fit perfect right out of the box. I am a 7.5 in most shoes, but in a few brands, I go up a size because my feet are just a little wide, but not wide enough for the wide option to work well. I don't get that slapping at the heels in New Balance, either. These are sturdy without looking like therapeutic shoes.

These are still B R A N D NEW IN THE BOX! I ordered them 8.5 Wide and they were like a whole size & a half larger! I really did try to wear them but too exaggerated my foot would slide. I Want them again but now ready others reviews I'm very conflicted :( Maybe I should try an "8" but ugh i hate having to return things Im a VERY busy mama!

Love these trainers! I ordered wide and they fit perfect.The only downside to ordering the wide with these trainers is they do look wide..Comfy, but wouldn't order in the wide fitting, I'd prefer the toe crushing fit in the hope I could widen them myself and the shoe maintains the look of being a narrow fit. !! Lol.Fast delivery.

I wear these to work often, as well as when I go about anywhere. They are accommodated for my feet that are a bit wide, and I can wear them all day with no issue. They are cushiony and not suffocating at all. The colors are also pretty, and my one coworker loves to compliment me on them. I am satisfied!
