Should you decide to play this instrument in the rain it is at your own risk. Even though these instruments are well built they are classified as water resistant or waterproof by the manufacturer Remo. Regards

Q: Can 14 inch drum be fitted with a strap?

Yes, it can. There should be a small strap already included which can be attached between two tuning bolts. There are other options available to purchase should you want a different material type or larger strap. Regards
