Uniweld Anti Blowback Adapter
I love the design and smaller size. Seems like it will be easier to use in tight spaces. Turns well and isn't as big or clunky as similar sealright adapters. I use it for air conditioning work. I put one on my high side manifold gauge hose to prevent excess refrigerant loss or possibly even refrigerant burns from the spray (blowback) when disconnecting hose from the system. A must have in my opinion when working on higher pressure 410a systems.

a must for your high pressure service gage line.
No refrigerant burns on fingers using this fitting on the high pressure service gage line. 410a systems with 300 to 400psi on the high side you need this fitting.

Junk
They blow lots of refrigerant out when removing from liquid side. So much so I have to reevaluate the charge. Also a pain to get threaded on. Buy the other brand

These things are AWESOME. Very easy to attach and remove from service valves, especially 410A systems. Very smooth. I love mine and plan on buying a few more for my other manifold gauges.

Pain in the ass. I have broke 2 of these things by not getting Ben doing anything. The seals break and spray Freon everywhere. They don’t last very long.

I really like everything about the anti-blowback hoses
I really like everything about the anti-blowback hoses, but I had a problem when connecting to my RUDD system. The extra length of the attachments make the connections unable to fit onto the service port, so I could not test my system with them on. Otherwise they do work as designed and function well.
