Fiebing CARE00P008Z 4-Way Care Leather Conditioner

I figured out this was going to be a small bottle before I paid for it, but somehow it was unusually small!. One bottle handled 2 medium leather sofas. I have a lot of naugahyde leather furniture that needs upkeep, cleaning and conditioning. All of the pieces have a rich worn sheen, right from day one. This product isn't as liquid as what I have been using---which was quite watery. This is the consistency of melted butter. The promotion pictures show a dramatic difference in the before and after pictures. The after pictures greatly deepened and freshened the color and evened out all the natural weathered areas; made all the cracking in the surface disappear. The reality is that it only deepens the color for an hour or two. By eight hours the sofas looked as though they had never been cleaned or treated. A downright disappointment was how dull they looked afterward. Instead of a nice sheen these were dull like a waxed car that hasn't been wiped off properly. So I took a clean dry cloth and proceeded to rub the furniture down but it didn't have any affect. Now I'm hoping I haven't ruined my expensive furniture by using this conditioner. It has made the furniture look old and tired and in need of some TLC. On the arm of a chair, there are some surface cracks that I was concerned about so I really applied the conditioner liberally. By morning there was no sign the chair had been treated except for the same dull appearance as the two sofas. How really disappointing. All the worn areas are still very apparent, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as I do like patina leather in my western styled house. But this product has not at all lived up to the pictures and advertisements. The aging cracks on the sofas and the chair are still a very real concern. I won't be repurchasing and would advise to try another product.

I have been using this leather treatment for years. Was first introduced to it for my chaps and leather motorcycle jacket. It kept them soft, supple and protected from the elements. When I finally purchased a car with leather seats I figured why not. Since then it has been used on many car seats and a leather sofa to keep them from drying out and cracking. I like I can pour it on or into a rag and get great coverage. This is my only leather treatment.

My first bottle of Fiebing's came with my first leather briefcase . . . more decades ago than I'd care to say. I still have the case & it looks great, despite many years of hard use, thanks to this product. Over the years, I have also used it on belts, shoes, boots, purses, a jacket, even leather furniture. Have tried similar products but always come back to this one--even when it was hard to find. It's simply the best . . . replinishes the oils from the original tanning process . . . at least, that's my understanding . . . Anyway, I find it gives lasting results head & shoulders above similar leather care products in terms of protection & subtle sheen. Easy to use. Best application is with a bit of natural chamois (which you'll need to rinse clean in cold water after, allowing to dry before reuse).

I've used Fiebings Leathercraft 4 Way Care Conditioner on my leather couch for years. I think it's the best leather conditioner on the market. Affordable too!

Good old Fiebing still makes quality leather care products. This liquid dies exactly what the makers claim: cleans, nourishes and protects smooth leather. The container holds enough for several years' worth of treating our boots, bags and smaller articles. Everything we've used it on looks and feels very good.

Love Love this leather cleaner, it doesn't take much to do a great job! This leather chair was looking pretty tough & look @ it now! I've used other leather cleaners & none compare. So this 8 oz. bottle will last a long time.

it's everything just like the product description described. I use it primarily for softening to keep my gloves and shoes from cracking after rain or any heat. The actual product looked a little like yellow semen which disgusted me at first, so you may want to remember to shake this thing up before use. Also remember to only apply a small amount at a time as i struggled with evenly spreading the softener throughout the leather
