YAMATIC Horizontal 3/4" Shaft Pressure Washer Pump 3400 PSI 2.5 GPM

This pressure washer pump works great and was easy to install. It fit perfectly and brought my pressure washer back to life. The water pressure is strong and consistent, and it runs smoothly without any issues. So far, I’m very happy with the quality and performance. Great value for the price

The OEM pump on my gas unit decided it didn't want to produce pressure anymore, so I went the affordable route and bought this instead of going to a higher end triplex pump. I rarely use the gas washer, but it's nice to have around when needed. Anyhow, this pump was a direct bolt on replacement for my Honda GC 190 engine (washer is a Simpson 3200 model). Real simple job, and works great. It was only $59 at time of purchase and couldn't really ask for more. It did come with a new set of bolts as well as woodruff key for the shaft. Pump puts out good consistent pressure, and no leaks. I have it going through a 4.0 GPM nozzle as to reduce the pressure a bit from the rated amount. The washer is rated at 2.4 GPM, so they can boast higher pressures, but I often use larger orifice nozzles to drop pressure and increase flow. With that nozzle, this was putting out around 2400-2600 PSI. I would imagine with a smaller nozzle (in the ballpark of 2.5 GPM), it would likely put out over 3000. I'll test that eventually, but I'm just glad it's working again and was a quick and painless swap, while being easy on the wallet.

Easier to install than remove the old one. I have a older Homelite HP3127s with a 7HP Subaru engine. It fit perfectly. The old pump had a small Crack in the case and contaminated the sealed pump oil. The shaft of the motor was somewhat siezed to the pump and after a few attempts to get it decoupled I finally ended up using a couple of wooden wedges slid I had slid between the 2 to gradulay get the pump to come off... This was a better solution than a screwdriver or a pry bar to avoid defacing the aluminum cases. I also applied anti sieze grease on the keway and shaft so it will slide off easier if I ever have to replace it. Although it did come with 4 new bolts, I chose to use the existing ones as I knew they ere the correct size. I did have to purchase a quick release fitting to connect the pressure hose as that was not included in the package. So far it seems to work great and I decided to get the inexpensive 3 year extended warranty just in case.

Its about half the weight of the old pump. Its smaller and is a replace on fail unit with no serviceable parts. The pressure seems about the same as the old pump. Attached is a photo of the of the old and new pumps together. I'm not expecting the same longevity but the cost is less than 50% of the old pump.

Perfect water pump replacement for Westinghouse WPX3400 Pressure Washer! I cleaned off the shaft, inserted the new woodruff key, applied Super Lube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease (21030) <https://a.co/d/06xIrvmy> to the shaft, attached the new water pump, and applied Blue Loctite 242 <https://a.co/d/0gLIuJ0U> on the bolts just before screwing them in to keep them from shaking loose. The Westinghouse WPX3400 is a great pressure washer when it works. Mine came with a nonfunctional water pump, which Westinghouse replaced and provided instructions on its replacement. When that water pump failed a year later, I was thinking about fighting with Westinghouse until I discovered this pump on Amazon. It was worth $65 to avoid the headache of convincing Westinghouse to send me a new pump. And it's a perfect replacement! Since I still had the lube and Blue Loctite from last time, it took about 5 minutes to replace the water pump and the WPX3400 is working great again!

I used this pump as replacement on a 25-year-old Excell 2400 psi pressure washer with GC160 Honda motor. It produced 2700 psi.

A good value for the money, easy to install. The accessories from my old pump fit the new unit. The quality of tis pump is good for a home owner who uses the washer occasionally, not for someone that uses it in a commercial application. They do sell upgraded pumps for more than occasional use. Overall for the money and my intended use I would recommend this pump.

Had it for a year now and still running strong psi was a lil lower then it said but just happy it hasn’t gave any issues
