Parcil Distribution Full Face Respirator with Filter

First the good: *Super good looking *Easy to breathe *Visor didn't fog *Excellent customer service My family loved this mask and found it quite comfortable. It also looks great and I don't know what magic makes the visor not fog, but it works well. With the discount added for the holidays, this was a fantastic value. And then the bad: *Didn't fit my apparently big giant head. I'm a 6ft, 265lb man. I served in the military and have some experience wearing similar style masks in the Army. This mask just did not fit my face. The top strap was at the extreme end of its length. The side straps only had maybe two detents left to adjust. The part I really couldn't tolerate was the fit with my face. The rubber seal crossed the outside edge of my eye sockets. The mouth portion of the mask was too low to make my nose uncomfortable and too high, making talking a jaw workout. The rest of my face was squeezed through the facial opening like a fat volcano about to erupt. I go snorkeling a few times a year and have no problem wearing either full or partial face masks. This one just wasn't for me. Amazon has a no return policy because somebody (me) smashed my face on it. Understandable. I wrote Parcil Safety directly asking if they had any other way to make it fit or for suggestions and they were so nice. They immediately said it sounded too small and issued me a prepaid return label, followed by a full refund. I wouldn't turn anyone away from one of these unless they have a large head. They are built sturdy and provide great airflow. They look incredibly good. They have a few different models if you want to connect to different style cartridges. The insanely good customer service on top of all this makes it an easy choice.

I bought this to ensure I didn't breath in a bunch of drywall dust during a home renovation project. Plenty of working over my head, so I thought I'd give the full face protection a try. I've tried the dust masks with safety glasses, but as soon as I put those one, the glasses are completely fogged within a few seconds (a major danger when you're using power tools while working). I was concerned that wearing full face mask would trigger a claustrophobic response or a general feeling of difficulty breathing. I was quite surprised that after just a few minutes, it was quite comfortable and I quickly became used to the mask. Yeah you're breathing in through a filter, so it adds a little bit of labor to breathing, but within a few hours of use over a couple of days, I'd forget I was wearing it. I also wore 3M over the ear hearing protection (like headphones...which are great by the way) so once I had the mask and the hearing protection on, it was a bit of a surreal work environment. It was nice and quiet, but I could hear my own breathing like Darth Vader in my head. But the protection offered was absolutely great. AND NO FOGGING UP....I mean NO FOG....I was sweating like a pig and I expected to have to stop constantly to wipe down the interior of the mask, but the seal between your mouth/nose and the rest of your face is awesome. And comfortable to boot! I'm not sure exactly how you're supposed to clean it, but I removed the filters and just rinsed in the sink at the end of the day. Used for at least 10 days (with cleaning at the end of the day), and it still looks like new. I wish I had discovered these long ago. I've pulled it out for several mundane uses as well: Emptying the shop vacs, using the circular saw, grinding a nail head off above my head (sparks everywhere, but just threw on a floppy hat and was protected). The price was right and I'm very happy with the purchase (and my lungs are much happier campers!).

super awesome mask, works great doesn’t fog. no complaints. filters that it comes with a good. can get protective lense covers to keep face-shield safe and clean. 10/10

Used it in a pepper spray/mace environment and it kept the gas out effectively. I also have a goatee and the seal was still good. I purchased separate filters, so I can't vouch for the ones included. I have an average sized face and the fit was comfortable. I experienced no fogging even after extended use. Would recommend.

I wear a size Large 3M respirator and this Parcil "one size fits all" is a comfortable air tight fit. It appears to be well made and the only concern I have is with the filters themselves. According to Parcil "Each respirator in the Parcil Safety catalog is ASTM Tested. We are currently attempting NIOSH certification, but have not received any certification to date." I'd feel more confident once they get NIOSH certification. Based on the description I would guess they are the equivalent of an N95 filter. For that reason I'm using 3M P100 filters instead with the reasoning being why filter 95% when you can filter 99.9%. Overall it's a good mask I can recommend, just upgrade the filters if you are concerned.

The respirator works as intended and performed beautifully! As an Environmental & Waterworks Operator who works for a chicken processing plant, I can say without a doubt that this mask has helped me in places where Organic and Chemical fumes are the strongest. So long as the mask has been tightly secured and adjusted appropriately, it'll do the job in filtering the air you need to breathe safe and sound. The respirator was put through a 48 hour trial run and introduced to areas where chemical and harmful organic fumes are known to be more concentrated and again I can confirm, the respirator performed beautifully. Not too expensive yet not too cheap. Fits snug on the face and easy to adjust! My crew is already wanting ones for themselves so I highly recommend this product for someone who wants something that meets in the middle as far as price goes.

I wish I had one of these earlier. I used while grinding the bottom of my boat. Very very dusty job. I wore this for 3 hours straight and the lens did not fog up and the seal to the face was very good. (temp was cool, about 60F) More comfortable than I expected. Prior to this I was using separate mask and goggles which was terrible compared to the full face mask. Goggles would fog up and the mask did not have perfect seal. Anyhow, well worth the money.

To anyone who has taken down Lath and plaster ceilings, you will know the dust and grits in the air ! . This mask is a life changer for me , no grit in my eyes and great fresh air to breath all day long. The face mask is good and wide so good vision, the straps are stretchy and very easy to use. I have cleaned mine once with fresh water and air dried as instructed and it came out well. NOT the filter cartridges as i am not sure if it is possible. Overall this is a Great product, in my opinion.

I bought this to protect myself from insulation dust, and so far today it has worked really well. And it hasn’t steamed up at all. I did buy this one over others on sale, because one of the reviews said that i would be able to wear my glasses inside it, but sadly I can’t so my vision hasn’t been as good today as it should be. But it does work really well.

Okay so I work as a chemical cleaning operative and I can definetly say this is effective with enthanolamine and other organic vapours, however something doesn't quite feel quite right when treating mould infestations, I'm not fully confident that this would protect against fungal, biological spores ect as I could still smell the bleach in this. I remain skeptical this product as from these other reviews but hey ill find out some day. Regardless its extremely comfortable to wear and fits like a glove, tho a mask nonetheless I can't complain just yet.
