My 2nd Purchase. Durable, comfortable & stylish.
This is my second purchase of the black Skechers for my young adult son. The last purchase was Nov of 2024 it's now July 2026. My son wore that pair daily for work and leisure and they lasted. He noticed yesterday that the bottom of his shoes are beginning to fall apart. I immediately ordered this replacement pair. He loves the all black design. They go with everything he wears. He just put on his new pair and loves them. There is enough life left in his old pair that he's hanging on to them for rainy days, urban exploration and anything grubby. If this pair lasts like the last, I have no reason to think they won't, I'll be buying them again. The price is excellent. Quality and appearance are fantastic. Size is perfect . He says they're very comfortable. What more could I ask for.

Comfortable and durable
My husband walks upward of 30,000 steps a day on concrete. He works in a warehouse so he's pretty hard on his shoes. When they're new he wears them for casual with jeans. They are true to size. He likes the dark colors so these fit the bill. Each pair lasts right at a year before needing to be replaced, which when you consider how many miles he puts on them that's pretty good. He says they are comfortable and they have a roomy toe that accomodates his crossed toe that he refuses to go see the podiatrist about. I just ordered a 3rd pair.

2023 UPDATE - DANG THEY ENDURED A LOT (A FRESH 2020 REVIEW!!! - Yeah, they're pretty good.)
I wanted to leave a review for these shoes specifically because Amazon has a habit of throwing old reviews at the buyer rather than more recent ones. There aren't many with a fair critique, or they resort to "omg it sucks/rocks". So, here we go. After years of using TredSafe shoes due to just not having the money to afford fancy-shmancy, I bit the bullet on these shoes figuring I could at least default to other shoes if they didn't work out. Also, a lot of reviews complained on durability and such, but they were recommended, so I went for it. Durability: Uhhhh, folks must have run over their pairs with a lawn mower to get them wrecked like they were, because wow have mine been accidentally kicked into and scraped by a LOT of old metal equipment and hardware with basically no damage. Really, the only damage was a screw I somehow stepped on, drilling a hole into the bottom. I mean, it didn't poke my foot, so no harm done. Comfort: Okay, so memory foam is a big "your mileage may vary" situation, but generally the foam is pretty okay in these shoes. Seeing as I run around a lot more at my new job than I did my old one, these do pretty good at cushioning my 13W feet. Then again, I am also a tall dude, so the memory foam cushioning may not be as effective for me. It hasn't been long enough to really wear it out either, but again, your mileage may vary. Also depends on whether you really understand memory foam, which I kind of don't. I might be totally off-base. But anyways. Even without that, the general feel and support of the shoe is good. The fact that my heels basically never hurt after eight-hour shifts when they would tend to hurt in the old, cheap TredSafe shoes is a pretty good testament to that fact. The fit: It fits...? I mean, 13W feet, I bought 13W. It fit pretty much as expected. The only minor complaint I can make is more a special case: there isn't a lot of room for inserts. See, I'm weird and have a tendency to put more pressure on the front of my feet than the heel, and not a shoe can be found at reasonable price for someone weird like me. I'd like to be able to fit some front support into the shoes to counter that, but there's just not enough room. Maybe once I wear out the memory foam, but otherwise... Well, that's a "me" thing. If you walk like a normal person rather than like I did as a kid to catch late-night TV without being caught, then you should be okay. Other stuff: One other minor complaint is just a typical sneaker issue but a bit worse. When the bottoms of the shoes get wet, walking on any kind of hard floor gives off an obnoxious squeaking sound. I don't mean like "basketball court" squeaking. I mean like "twisting leather" squeaking. To be fair... They're sneakers. They'll make noise like that, but it's usually not that annoying. They do dry out pretty quick so long as you don't keep getting them wet, so it doesn't last particularly long. So... Four stars? Yeah. They're pretty good overall, and they sure do take a beating. I keep expecting something I do to rip it open, but there isn't a single tear or crack anywhere (besides the hole from the screw). Main problem is just memory foam getting in the way of using inserts, lack of front foot support for those like yours truly, and the obnoxious wet squeak. Still a solid shoe, though. Worth the money. Update: 07/22/2023 Just bought a second pair because the pair I use finally showed signs of serious wear, which is pretty impressive since I've used these shoes for almost everything from job work to yard work. They have had their soles handed to them regularly and only just now started actually falling apart in any measure. They aren't dead just yet, but the shoes were on a good sale so I bought pair two ahead of time. I did end up wearing out the memory foam rather quick (but I also walk weird, so once again your mileage may vary) but pulling them out to replace with new inserts was really easy, so it was a simple swap-out. I will say it's best to just swap for more memory foam since other "support" inserts didn't help just because of the shoe's own support. So yeah, running back in to say you REALLY have to try to destroy these shoes to make them fall apart: for having lasted 3 years of me, they've done a very good job staying together. They're still comfortable, pretty good support, and make the annoying leather-twisting noise when wet, but I definitely think they're worth the price, sale or not.

Husband loves these!
These sneakers are perfect for my husband. They last him a lot longer than any other sneaker he has tried. He likes them so much that we order two pairs each time he needs new ones. The size it just right and weight of them are typical. They are a full sneaker so foot protection is as any other sneaker. They clean up fairly well when needed. Definitely recommend these and definitely be purchasing them again when needed.

Great Walking/Hiking Shoe
This is going to be a cookie-cutter review of two pairs of Sketchers Memory Foam Shoes/Sneakers. I purchased two different pairs, one Vigor 2.0 (grey/black) and the other an After Burn M.Fit. (tan/brown color) Outside of their names, and some aesthetics difference, both of these pairs are basically the same shoes. OK, well some will argue that they are different shoes just because the type of soles they have, but honestly my feet cant tell the difference between them. Speaking of my feet, they are definitely loving the memory foam padding. Both of these shoes were put into immediate service after they arrived at the house, and I’ve pretty much been wearing them every single work day for the past 3 weeks. I recently got into a health craze, and seeing that I live approximately 2 miles (each way) from work, I figured I could begin walking or biking in. The first couple days I made the trek wearing my work boots, and quickly discovered that while they might be comfortable to wear under normal circumstances, they quickly lose said comfort a mile into lengthy walk. So, I went looking for decent shoes, from a brand I trust, with enough good reviews to convince me to take a chance on them. Enter the Vigor and After Burn. I consider these more of a day-hiking wear than something one would wear to the gym. They’re extremely comfortable to walk in, but not to sure how they would handle the stresses of a vigorous aerobic-style workouts. I also don’t consider them running shoes, although they do show up when you search for athletic shoes on Amazon. What else. My shoe size has always been a bit weird. On average, I normally wear a size 13.5 W, but I’ve found that some vendors 13 Wide fit just fine, where others I had to move up to a 14 just so my toes don’t feel like they’re being crushed. I purchase 13XW, hoping that this will be one of those occasion where the smaller size would fit. Also, sizes 13.5 or 14 weren’t available at time of purchase. Well, the gamble paid off, they both fit. While I may not be able to wear thick winter socks with the shoes, they fit comfortably enough with your standard tube sock. I have seen a few reviews of folks mentioning that they shoes fell apart days/weeks after purchase. So far, it’s been three weeks and they’re holding up just fine. I am not hiking any trails with them, but I am putting at least 6-8 miles on them every day, with at least 2 of those miles in Central Florida concrete heat. I also alternate between them, switching colors as my clothes for the day dictate. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. I’ll try to remember to update this review is something catastrophic happens, or if nothing happens and they continue to do they’re job.

Very comfortable
I love these shoes. They’re very comfortable when you first buy them, you have to replace insoles because myself I wear out the insoles actually I’ve wore holes in them, but I just buy a different insole to put in them which last maybe three or four months other than that I like them they’re kind of getting expensive for have to replace them every three or four months or five months or whatever I do wear them all the time so only the shoes I wear and I work 810 to 12 hours a day so I have to have shoes that are very comfortable being on my feet all day long

Buy, but plan on replacing.
It's a good shoe. Fat tread. Good arch support, when it's new. In a year's time (approximately 1,000 miles) the supportive insole has evaporated and the cushioning around the heel is gone - so much so that the plastic skeleton underneath cut into the back of my foot. So, buy and be happy, but for heavy use, plan to replace within a year.

Se sienten comodos
Me sorprendió lo anchos que son, mi pie es ancho y con las horas de pie se hincha así que estos están perfectos, son un poco bajos del talón, pero con un calcetin grueso se arregla, muy feliz con mis nuevos tenis :)
