SpiderTech PowerStrips are precut strips of kinesiology tape, already cut in the most widely-used configurations - the X Strip, the Y Strip and the I Strip. An “X” strip has longitudinal cuts extending in from both ends toward a solid center section. When the tails on each end are separated and applied to the skin, the taping resembles an “X.” The X configuration is placed directly over an injured joint or muscles. With the backing on, the SpiderTech X PowerStrip is 2" wide by 8" long. The tape has 140% elasticity, making it versatile enough to apply to areas like the arm, thigh, neck, back, ankle or calf. Because the tape is machine cut, the edges are smooth and the corners are rounded. This reduces the fraying and curling that can occur when kinesio tape is hand cut from a roll using scissors. The perforated backing is divided into numbered sections making application simple, even for those who are new to kinesiology taping. X Strips can be used alone or combined with Y Strips and/or I Strips. All SpiderTech products are made from premium SpiderTech Tape and can be worn 3-5 days.
