The ONLY one that works.
I have used this in the past, and yes, it is not the greatest looking finished appearance.......but, ALL the others I have tried are mostly just melted rubber, and they don't even last one Maine winter. As soon as the driveway expands and contracts, the thin rubbery stuff cracks. I am purchasing three rolls of TARR Tape to repair the "repairs" I made with the other, expensive stuff. Heat the asphalt first. (I sometimes put clumping kitty litter into the wider cracks.) Don't overheat the Tarr Tape and you won't see the reinforcement, and it won't burn. This stuff has lasted for years. The other products are junk and have been a great disappointment. I plow my driveway (which is huge) every storm, we also use a snow-thrower, and, of course, we shovel. We have NEVER caught the edge of the Tarr Tape with any of these tools or equipment. Once its down, it STAYS down. Good permanent repair. Not handsome, but a hell of a lot better than seeing cracks reappear where you have already spent good money to remove them!

Professional product works best with treated surface
This is a quality product and used for commercial purposes hence lack of directions. The surface should be completely dry, free from dirt/sand/moisture/oilsFill large cracks in with crack filler first(meltable type)The Sticky side goes down.Heat with blowtorch but do NOT overheat or it will begin to bubble. This melts quickDo Not play with it after you melt it. It will pack down after foot traffic and cars drive over it.Patch repair looks fantastic and professionally done when done correct. Anyone who leaves a terrible reviews did not do the repair correctly. This is not a fool proof product so make sure you can handle the job.

Could have better instructions in package.
We'll see if it holds up to snow shoveling. So far so good.

Repair tape 3 mill
Good product,.the 3mill takes a bit more heat to apply but still good..I cut the 2" in half, that was enough to repair my cracks. And it gave my 2x as much.

sits on top of crack, not great for deeper cracks could get caught by shovel when shoveling snow.
I put this on a crack and it adhered well. You should heat up the asphalt before putting it down for best adhesion. It worked great but since it sits on top of the crack, it has a lip which could get caught by a snow shovel, so I used some cold crack filler around the edges of this tape in an attempt to prevent the shovel from catching it. I'll see how it does this winter.I also used a hot crack filler which when heated, flows down into the crack. I think this works better in my area (MN) as it gets down into the crack and bonds better, leaving it level with the driveway so I cannot catch it with a shovel.

Does not stick well to asphalt, never hardens.
I have used "rope-type" asphalt for fixing cracks in my driveway - heat it with a propane torch and it adheres well. The "Asphalt Crack Filler Tape" does not work nearly as well. I had difficulty trying to get it to adhere to my asphalt driveway. The edges of the tape lift from the driveway. Heating it more is not the answer, it disolves from the heat. It has been on my driveway for several weeks and never hardens. If I step on it, the tape will adhere to my shoe. I purched driveway crack filler in a calking tube to help hold the edges of the tape to the asphalt. (I thourougly cleaned my driveway before using this product). I do not recommend "Asphalt Crack Filler Tape.
