No Problem! - I've been looking for a pull-up bar that fits my house's wide, 36 inch door frames. Not only does this fit, it fits well and feels safe! Not only does the position of the pull-up bar feel safe, but the bar itself feels sturdy and doesn't bend when I put all my 220 pounds of weight under it. The handles are comfortable but also feel like they will hold up over lots of use. Finally, I like that this bar folds together flat. Not many pull-up bars do that and I like that I can store it easily rather than having to choose if I find a large space to store it while not in use or have it always hanging up. Would definitely recommend and buy this again. Review: DESIGN LEAST LIKELY TO DAMAGE YOUR WALL - Sturdy pull up bar, very easy to set up right out the box and also take down and stow away. I chose this one because of the design of the latch that goes on top of the door frame and meets the wall. If you closely look at the other models across desertcart, the metal part doesn’t face downward but it goes up against the wall. This is more likely to cause permanent damage against the wall, which is why I picked this model. So if you’re like me and worried about damage then go with this one. There will be some damage regardless unless you put something against the wall to protect it, but this only took a bit of paint off. I noticed that my door frame is not very sturdy, so you’ll want to make sure your door frame and handle the weight. ## Features - 💪【ERGONOMIC PULL UP BAR】 The Ergonomic Multi Angled Grips Pull Up Bar, ideal for exercising and increasing the width of the latissimus dorsi. Do NOT use on drywall. It will break through eventually, possibly with the first use. Concrete would be the best bet. Wood board walls might work, but I suspect they would be marred. I regret buying this product. **Q: How tall can the trim be on the hook side?** A: I measure it, it's closer to 4" max from door jam opening to the top of the door trim molding on the back. **Q: What is the length of the support bar (the bar the touches the door)?** A: The bar length is 39 1/2 inches. **Q: Has anyone hung a heavy bag on it and does it fall when the bag is swinging hit by force?** A: I have not hung a heavy bag on it - I am 170# and it has no problems with the weight. However, I don't think it is 'secure' enough to have opposing forces on it. The load of a bag would help "stablize' the bar against the door jams.... the other issue would be a strong "link' to have the bank hang from. Not the answer you were looking for ... but this bar was not designed for that purpose. Use at your own risk in my opinion. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wide Doorframe? Sturdy, solid, with multiple bars and a loop for pulleys or other resistance systems. It has quality cushioned grips. You don't want to buy one of these and be worried you'll rip your door frame off or worse end up on the ground because it wasn't made well. Absolutely worth the extra cost in my opinion. ## Frequently Bought Together - AmazeFan Pull Up Bar Doorway with Ergonomic Grip - Fitness Chin-Up Frame for Home Gym Exercise - Multi-Angle Grip - 2024 Upgrade Smart Hook (Fits Almost All Doors) - Pull Up Bands, Resistance Bands, Pull Up Assistance Bands Set for Men & Women, Exercise Workout Bands for Working Out, Body Stretching, Physical Therapy, Muscle Training - GHB Gymnastic Rings Wooden Gym Rings 1.25" Olympic Rings Adjustable Straps Pull Up Rings Sets for Workout Bodyweight Fitness Training --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/102316677-pull-up-bar-doorway-with-ergonomic-grip-fitness-chin-up](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/102316677-pull-up-bar-doorway-with-ergonomic-grip-fitness-chin-up) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
