I just threw away a lap desk that had polystyrene beads in the base, the pouch holding the beads started to come away from the desk part....I wanted something of better quality and this was my choice.Am not disappointed at all, it is a little on the heavy side, but that is because it is well made, it is quite comfortable because of the memory foam in the base, is also firm and holds the laptop steady....my 15 inch laptop fits snugly on top, I actually made the purchase as a base for my iPad Pro and it is perfect.I nearly didn't buy it as I thought it was a little pricey, however, I think because of the quality, it will last a lot longer than my previous purchase.Would recommend as is perfect for using whilst reading or writing notes too.

Brilliant lap desk, this product is well made with very comfortable cushion, doubles up easily as a writing lap-desk.I use it with 15.6" laptop and there's plenty of room on either side so this could take bigger laptops as well.I have been through cheaper products in the past which either have less cushion or edges which are uncomfortable, this has no such problem, cushion doesn't slip, would highly recommend.

Perfect. Mine fits the new 10.5 iPad Pro which I didn't think it would due to dimensions described so massive added bonus there!
