Can someone confirm that this actually has a swivel? I.e so the shower head can be twisted without the hose following?

The threaded part does rotate around the hose, however if you tighten the thread onto the shower head really tight then the hose is clamped onto the shower head and will not rotate. Basically it depends on how tight you screw the hose to the shower head as to whether it rotates or is fixed.

Will this fit a mira shower as a replacement hose?
