Fresh Is Best Freeze Dried Chicken Breast for Dogs & Cats

My cat thinks these are THE best treats ever! Prefers them to all others I've tried. Their size and shape hold up really well and don't crumble easily like some, yet are easy to break apart to make smaller treats. I hide them all over the house every evening to give my very nocturnal cat a treasure hunt - something to do instead of waking me up to play- and every single one is gone the next morning. They really live up to their name. But...they are Sooooooo expensive.

Dog lives them

Love it!!!!!

My cats liked this product and ate it as readily as they ate another brand I'd been buying. Only difference I can see is that perhaps the freeze-drying process used by this company differs somewhat from the other brand's process in that the coloring is different and the feel of the product is a little different (the other company's is whiter, already cubed, more "striated" and drier; this brand's coloring varies, is whole strips you have to cut--which is easy to do--and product is not striated. I think the striations (or the "look" of the product) may have something to do with how the chicken is cut initially--with the grain or against the grain of the meat). This product doesn't leave a lot of "crumbs" or flaked off pieces like the other product--which is good. My cats wouldn't eat the crumbs themselves so I just mixed the crumbs with their wet food. Sneaky, I know, but at these prices, waste not, want not. (By the way, this chicken rehydrates well.) The only reason I gave 4 stars is, I'd like to see it already cut into bite-size pieces--it does take time to do it yourself and sometimes it's just another thing that adds to a busy day. I like that the chicken is raised in the US--not sure if it's processed here or not, though. Package doesn't say. I would recommend this product to any chicken-loving cats and owners who want to provide some extra protein or as a treat for being...well, just being a cat.

this has been the BEST treat and now the only one I buy, both very little teeth left 12 & 17 years old.

I wish my cats didn't like this as much as they do, as it's kind of on the pricey side, but alas it is their favorite treat on planet earth. So it's worth it to me, not just because they like it but because it's a very healthy treat and made in the USA so it's safe to feed them too. I break the chunks into small bites for them which also helps prevent giving them any pieces that have too sharp an edge on them (every now and then there's a very hard/sharp edge on a piece so I'm always careful). The downside is, my cats used to be very good about waiting until 5pm to ask for their "treat time" but now they generally start begging around 2 or 3 pm because they just can't wait to have their chicken!

“My two small pups absolutely love these Fresh Is Best freeze-dried treats. The moment I crack the bag open, they come running — and I’ve never seen them so excited about treats before. The texture is crunchy but not overly hard on their small teeth, and I love that it’s raw and simple ingredients. No upset stomachs, no weird smells, just happy dogs. Definitely a staple in our treat drawer now.”

Cats Love it. I’d buy anything from this brand.
