Many cats love Silvervine, even if they have no reaction to catnip! A 2017 study found that one in three cats do not respond to catnip but that 80 percent of all cats respond to the essential oils in Silvervine. For cats who have no reaction to catnip, it is an excellent alternative! If your cat already loves catnip, Silvervine can be a great addition to keep them active! To make our natural Silvervine Powder, we finely grind up the dried fruit of an climbing ivy like plant called the Actinindia Polygama- more commonly known as Silver Vine due to the distinctive color of its leaves. The silvervine fruit- related to the kiwi- contains two natural olfactory attractants, making it more enticing than traditional catnip to many cats. - Our Meowy Wowie Silvervine is all natural, safe and healthy. Silvervine promotes play and helps to relieve anxiety and boredom in house cats and can be used daily as an enrichment tool. It is non addictive, and as with catnip, cats will know when they have had enough and lose interest. - Sprinkle a small pinch on the included felt toy, scratching post, or wherever you want to encourage your cat to play. They will feel the effects for anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes. -Typical behaviors include rolling, chin rubbing, meowing, drooling and licking. Some cats under the influence of silvervine become kitten-like with tons of happy energy. Others become more relaxed and will chill out in an almost dreamlike state. - Each resealable metal tin contains 1 fl oz of silvervine powder which will last 20-30 (or more) play times. ## Features - 100% ALL NATURAL SILVERVINE- Excellent Catnip Alternative - FRESHNESS GUARANTEED- Hand packed to order to ensure maximum freshness - HIGHLY POTENT- Two olfactory attractants make it more enticing than traditional catnip - SAFE AND HEALTHY- Silvervine promotes play and helps to relieve anxiety and boredom in house cats - GREAT VALUE: 15 grams of Silvervine powder will last over 30 play times ## Images ![Meowy Janes Silvervine Powder for Cats- 15 Grams All Natural Catnip Alternative | Cat Toy Cat Treat | Unique Gift Present for Cat Lovers | Meowy Wowie - Image 1](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51LajZ0z9bL.jpg) ![Meowy Janes Silvervine Powder for Cats- 15 Grams All Natural Catnip Alternative | Cat Toy Cat Treat | Unique Gift Present for Cat Lovers | Meowy Wowie - Image 2](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51TPvsEGU5L.jpg) ![Meowy Janes Silvervine Powder for Cats- 15 Grams All Natural Catnip Alternative | Cat Toy Cat Treat | Unique Gift Present for Cat Lovers | Meowy Wowie - Image 3](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41SJQ-czn%2BL.jpg) ![Meowy Janes Silvervine Powder for Cats- 15 Grams All Natural Catnip Alternative | Cat Toy Cat Treat | Unique Gift Present for Cat Lovers | Meowy Wowie - Image 4](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41Qu7NvC09L.jpg) ![Meowy Janes Silvervine Powder for Cats- 15 Grams All Natural Catnip Alternative | Cat Toy Cat Treat | Unique Gift Present for Cat Lovers | Meowy Wowie - Image 5](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31HiJPPunTL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Cat will never be the same!!! *by D***E on March 14, 2019* It’s amazing what this product can do! Not only does it come in a cute little package, it comes in getting the job DONE! My cat absolutely loves this product you can see my little elderly lady’s reaction! I’m ready to buy the entire collection from Meowy Janes! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than catnip *by B***. on April 20, 2019* One of our cats never cared much for catnip but he definitely loves this silvervine powder. We just put like half a pinch on one of the million mouse toys we have and it makes them like new to him. His twin brother plays with with the toys too but still begs for catnip so I guess they each have their own preference. The tin isn’t huge but it will last us for quite some time because a little bit goes a very long way. ### ⭐ No reaction to powder *by N***. on April 22, 2019* I ordered Meowy Janes Silvervine Powder. I put some on the floor. My cats walked right by without any reaction. I purchased loose silvervine last year from another vendor and they loved it. Also purchased from Amazon silverine sticks and my 4 cats went crazy over them. I will not order the silvervine powder again. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/102090081-meowy-janes-silvervine-powder-for-cats-15-grams-all-natural](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/102090081-meowy-janes-silvervine-powder-for-cats-15-grams-all-natural) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
