Musbury Luxury Hotel & Spa Quality Terry Towelling Bathrobe 100% Cotton 400gsm - White

We take a lot of UK minibreaks and recently have been given upgrades to Executive Rooms that come with bathrobes in the rooms. One of the perks of going out of tourist season. I discovered just how much I enjoy stepping out of the bath or shower and just throwing a robe on to dry off rather than doing the towel dance. After our most recent get-away for my 50th Birthday I decided to treat myself to a robe for my case but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. So I am 5' 11" and a UK Size 20 well, more or less sometimes the top is a 22 and the bottom an 18 but you get the idea. The length is great, it comes to just below my knees and the sleeves are perfect with the cuffs sitting just on the wrist. I would say a 20 is the upper limit on this robe though as it only just has enough overlap to close and I need to tug the belt quite tight to stop it gaping open when I move. The belt is plenty long though and I could even have tied it into a bow if I'd had a mind to. Out of the pack it is quite tough and scratchy and doesn't feel luxurious at all. Quick trip through the washing machine and a tumble dry and it felt much softer - I didn't use fabric softener as I have read that it inhibits absorption so avoid it on my towels and figured this would be the same. I did use a drier sheet though. It is now all safely packed in my case ready for my next break in 2 weeks for the 29th Wedding Anniversary. Although, I am glad we only take breaks in the UK as the robe itself is quite heavy so will take a fair chunk of your luggage allowance if you are travelling. Great bargain price and the product itself exceeded my expectations for the price point. I will admit though if I was looking for one for everyday use then I would probably spend a fair bit more for a true luxury product. For occasional use though this is spot on and at a fabulous price point.

Years ago I stayed in a Hilton hotel - a gift from a friend. If I'd known then I could have bought a robe I would have done! Since then I've been on the search (not being conveniently close to a Hilton) for a robe that was as good as the one I wore then. This one is. Proper Terry towelling, lovely size (I'm not small so got the bigger size and it comfortably wraps round me), and it feels nice. Don't buy a fleecy robe or anything else. I find the waffle ones stick to your wet skin. This works like a towel, but is clothes!! Just can't be beaten, and the price is cheaper than Hilton were asking six years ago!

I like my new bathrobe, I gave 4 stars because its not quiet hotel quality as advertised. A bit thinner than I was expecting. But still good nonetheless. It is huge. I originally bought it for my BF but he doesnt not like the fact that's its huge. I'm smaller than him but took it instead as I quoet like the fact that it is huge !!

I already had one of these and simply wanted another. You need to make sure you order from the right seller. I ordered one from A&B Traders and it was junk. I ordered another just in case it was a mistake and that was also junk. Returned both of them. I ordered the same advertised item from Musbury Fabrics and it was exactly the item I wanted. It's big and heavy and better when you've washed it. 100% satisfied. 1.34kg

It looks as if its a really nice towelling dressing gown. seems very thick and fluffy. However as its for a birthday I have not opened it so will finish comment later, when birthday girls receives it

Great quality for the price , I read several reviews on this and similar products before purchasing. Item arrived quickly and well packaged. Lovely soft towelling and quite light . Will definitely be buying another from here. 2nd purchase as I was very happy with the first robe. Really like the fact that the robe is quite light as washing and drying the robe is easier.

Good for the price . Nice and heavy making it warm. Shame about the shot belt that came with mine.
