Great framing nailer!
I've been putting off buying a framing nailer for a while but I'm so glad that I finally bought one. The Metabo HPT nailer makes framing fast and easy. It's heavy but not too bad. It does get loud so I recommend wearing ear protectors (I wear a noise cancelling headphone while working and it does the job). Best part is that it can easily hold 3 strips of 25 nails with some space to spare, so I'm guessing about 80-90 nails at a time so I don't have to keep reloading like on my cordless Dewalts. I have it hooked up to a 3 gal HFT 100 psi hotdog compressor and it works fine. It shoots about 10 nails before the compressor kicks in again, which for a DIYer is plenty. Not the nailer's fault if anything, I should probably upgrade my compressor to a bigger one. From time to time it would fire so hard that it splits the edge of the 2x4 but only if the wood is dry and old. Overall I'm happy with this nailer. So much faster than using impact driver and torx screws. EDIT: Pic added. I built a huge part of our pool deck with this Metabo nailer. Zero issues, it never jammed. Sped up the work tremendously. UPDATE 6/17/24: I just finished framing an entire bathroom addition and it worked flawlessly yet again. I actually dropped it nose first from 8 ft, it hit the paver and cracked the paver, but the gun is unscathed and works fine. This thing is super durable!

Very good nail gun.
Liked my first order so much I bought another. I like the "Paslode style" nails, used in these guns, though I am preparing to try DeWalt's alternative for these nails due to price. The big box stores charge a LOT more for their nails. I have noted it easier to get my Paslode to nail flush instead of burying the nail head a bit. But sometimes burying the nail head ensures the board is drawn down properly. Pros and cons to most things it would seem. Pretty big nail gun but the weight is fairly light considering the size and that it accepts 3 1/2" nails. I feel this nail gun is a genuine bargain and I do enjoy a good bargain.

This nail gun needs 2 more rows of stars
This is the Cadillac of nail guns in my humble opinion. Metabo has depth Guage and it's lighter with rapped fire and single fire and no jamming nails . Very smooth and zero fatigue factor from the weight or adjusting from tight placement while holding it overhead. And it's on sale for 145 .A steal of a deal . Amazon is hooking the DYI and Contractors. Fast shipping next day and I was waiting at my window like a kid on Christmas.

Not much more than 1k nails thru
Have used this model extensively on the job, many tens of thousands shot thru, but this one must have been made on a Monday. Absolute fail, nail stuck so hard (running at 100 psi) even disassembly is impossible. Never seen anything like it. Not sure if taking it to get repaired is even worth it. Gently and then less gently tapped, pried, pulled, etc., all to no avail. Got most of it out, but the last .05" still jammed. 4" angle grinder is looking more tempting every minute. But it sure was great while it lasted.... for about 1000 nails.

Metabo HPT Framing Nailer NR90ADS1 is amazing and can use 34 degree nails.
The NR90ADS1 can use 34‑degree nails despite what people say. You just have to feed them in pointy‑end first and it will work. The reason some nails didn’t sink is because, for demonstration purposes, it was running off a 6‑litre tank at 75–80 PSI, which is the low end of the recommended pressure for this nailer.

Always a top notch product!
I’ve been a metabo gun fan for a while now and knew how this would handle before I bought it, it was bought as a back up and did just that! When I need it it’s always working perfectly and never jams, well worth it!

Solid Framing Nailer and Feels Powerful
This framing nailer has been working really well for construction and framing jobs so far. It feels solid in the hand and has plenty of power for driving nails into lumber without constant jams or misfires. I like that it’s lighter than some older framing nailers I’ve used, so it’s a little easier on the arms during longer work days. Loading nails is simple and overall it feels like a reliable tool. Only downside is it’s still pretty loud and does use a decent amount of air, but that’s expected with framing nailers. Overall really happy with the performance and it seems like a good quality tool for the price.

Good tool, very reliable
Excellent quality, it seems strong and durable. Used this brand before and never had an issue; it all depends on the quality of the nails you use not the nailer
