I'm an adult fan of the show. When I saw this was only $5 I had to have it because of how absurdly cute and precious it looked. Little Golden Books mean childhood to me. The art by Zoe Percisco matches exactly what I would expect from a Little Golden book; it's absurdly cute. While I'm a *bit* above the target age range for the story, I appreciate how all the character dialogue is very in character and you can easily hear the characters saying it exactly as written. Maybe the pacing is a bit fast/choppy between pages but I just consider it condensed. I spend time admiring the art on each page so it doesn't seem like too much time in-story is passing between pages to me. I showed it to my sister and she had to borrow it to 'read' it too. I showed some friends and they all wanted to look at it because of how fun the art style is. Zoe Percisco's cute illustrations are immediately timeless and well worth the $5. I bought this as art. And the presentation as awhole, with the little golden spine, recaptures childhood memories of reading picture books sitting on the carpet cross-legged. I'm buying all the others that come out as long as she's the illustrator. And it looks like there's at least two more planned where she is.

My niece and I had a great time reading this together.

It's nice to have a book about aunties for kids to read who have a close auntie in their life.
