This is an excellent Bible that has been translated in modern English that stays true to the original KJV translation. They both use the same sourced manuscripts. You can also buy this Bible with both translations side by side so you can compare as you read. Now I hope the Kirkbride partners up with them to make this the most powerful Thompson Chain reference study bible to date along side of the KJV. So I hope they will....

This is perfect size. Font very readable for old eyes. Pages not superthin india paper, so my yellow highlighter has no bleed through. Index labels recessed so won't wear out like tabs. Has good subject header for topics within each chapter. Red letter and concordance. Good cover is not too flexible nor too hard. Was looking for an MEV and this bible is perfect for that. Highly recommend

My first new Bible in 25 years. Things I like about this one: tight binding, indexed, red letters, has heading captions, MEV easy to understand, font is good size for aging eyes, has concordance, nice cover.Things I wish it had: cross-references.Things that could be improved: thin pages, you can see type bleed through to other side of page. It’s not horrible but it’s noticeable .

I really enjoy the translation. The cover looks a feels nice,although I wish it was leather. The bible pictured (at least now) is not what you get. It is definitely not as drab. It's the cover of the large print, not giant. One note: the bible is wider that I expected. Not bad but check out the dimensions.Again, I love the translation, and I was surprised to find I like it many times much better than my NKJV bible.

Great Bible to preach from due to its large print. Pages are a bit thin, but the thickest you can get in an MEV.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. Since it was going to be his first experience flipping bible pages I thought this would make it easier for him to keep up. He loves it. He is kinda tall and with biggish hands so it was the perfect size for him. He says the font is easy to read and big enough.

Excellent Bible! Easy to read and understand and it looks nice. This Bible shares much in common with the NKJV but the language in the MEV is more updated. You don't be disappointed in it, especially for the price you pay here. I think most people who buy this Bible will be very happy with it.

This is more true to the KJV than the NKJV is. It's taken from the textus receptus. Modern English version of the original.

Looks great, easy to reed. Indexed. Well made. Modern English. The word of God is absolute and this is a fitting tome to carry it.
