Works really well on dandruff and dry scalp. It takes some getting used to the strong smell though.

Best itch relief ever! I’ve been using the coal tar and menthol (“Mentar”) version of Denorex for 40 years along with Nizoral. They seem to have stopped making the Denorex so I was looking for a replacement. Much better than Denorex. Nice subtle scent as well. I now find I also need the Nizoral less often. Great stuff!

I LOVED the minty rejuvenation feeling on my scalp when washing, I’m going to preface with that. It smelled awesome and felt amazing. That said, we tried this out because all of us here have some degree of dandruff. We’ve tried a few brands & the one we loved the most had coal tar but they must’ve discontinued making it because I could only find it here and on eBay and the price kept just jumping up to ridiculous numbers. We didn’t want to switch but it was financially necessary. This shampoo is also a bit on the expensive side, but I liked how it looked and the ingredients. That said, all of us wash our hair only every 3-4 days on a regular basis and usually can go that long before our hair gets greasy or before we start to get itchy. While the more extreme cases here had some smaller flakes within a day (like dusting), all of us experienced a degree of greasy hair after day 2. By day 3-4 it was either hair up, hat on, or wash it early. I wish I could have some of the benefits with this with my previous fav shampoo… but it is what it is.

I don’t know if it helps with dandruff because I only used it once and returned it. After my first use I noticed the warning label right on the bottle that said the product contains ingredients that can cause cancer. I researched it, and apparently it’s the coal tar. So, I returned it. Just know that before you buy.

I have used a few dandruff shampoos in my day. This one was the first to work after the first application. The tingle on the head is nice but the scent was sooo strong that I could barely open my eyes. The product works well and is worth the money.

This shampoo has been my go to for the last three years because it makes my hair glossy and does a deep clean on the roots. But in the last four months I've ordered four different bottles and every one of them smelled like propane. The smell is offensive, potent and sticks to your hair. This is my official breakup letter.

I wanted a shampoo that would help with my itchy scalp and also make my head smell like orthopedic shoes look. Or like a 1800s army field hospital. Extra strength Band-Aid. This shampoo delivers and then some. A lil dab'll do yah, though!
