Cute style but quality inconsistent
I am 5’8 and about 130 pounds. I ordered a S and M to see (all the pictures are of an M). The zippers and the inside lining were not of the best quality but once the coat was on it looked very good and warm. The reason I returned it all was the M was too big for my liking but the S came with the middle “puff” section in the front of the coat with no down inside at all. I could feel how other sections had down in them but the middle section had nothing. Such a shame as the hood was large and everything seemed toasty warm (although I never wore it outside).

Love the jacket!
I ordered two jackets almost identical because I was a little worried about the fit. I loved the Orolay jacket but I returned it because it was too small. This jacket from Shanghai Bund was the same size and almost exactly like the Orolay coat, but it fit perfectly. The navy color was a bit richer in the Orolay and the fleece in the hood was a little thicker and better quality. Both had orange lining which again the color in the Orolay jacket was a little richer. The differences I mentioned were minor and with only a $20. difference I would recommend either. Both are great jackets but fit was most important to me.

Not for curvy girls!
If you’re at all a curvy woman, this style will likely make you look like you’ve gained 35 pounds around your midsection. It’s not for the C+ crowd. Even my husband gently said, it’s not flattering and it’s way too big in you. Aww.

Just right Sizing
I should have chose a size Medium.. runs a bit bigger.. I'm 5'4 178 lbs and so If you like you coats a little tighter to your body than a size smaller may be better. For the record this coat is not Chinese small framed sizes if this helps. Remember it gives an option to open up from the front and or sides.

Not that puffy, but great for the price
I bought the Orolay in Dec. Size small black (I'm 5'6' 120). The price was right, and it was ready to wear right out of the bag. It looks great on, but the sleeves are a bit short, and the arms are too tight to wear a sweater underneath. But I liked it so much I wanted to buy another one---a medium this time with room for a sweater or blazer... in a color. The price had gone up, so I bought the Shanghai Bund:First the good news---it fits fine, the sleeve is much longer and more comfortable--as expected because its a medium. But it does not look 'too big'. It has a two way zipper (unlike the Orolay). Here is why it does not get 5 stars: It did not look good out-of-the -bag as the Orolay--- quite wrinkled and it will have to be steamed out. Both jackets (the small and this medium) weigh exactly the same---which means that the size Medium Shanghai Bund may have less fill. Indeed, it does not feel quite as puffy as the Orolay---but considering it was $50 less, and it fits well? The wrinkles have pretty much steamed out, it has plenty room for a sweater if the temps go below 30, so it's a keeper.

Great coat.
Love this coat. I ordered a size up so I could layer clothes under it. It is just what I was looking for. And it keeps me nice and warm. Would definitely buy again.

So warm!!
Love this coat, i live in NYC and get tona Of compliments on how it looks or “is it the ues coat” It was on a friends insta stroy and was in the hunt for an expensive coat for to and fro work transit. Loved the cocoon feel to it and that its not the same black coat on the subway. For me Ive rarely seen it on other New Yorkers but Im sure I will run into some more!

Not warm
It’s almost exactly the same as oralay, even the zipper is good. Not warm during cold weather,
