Worked for what I needed for my amp install

Great wire for upgrading my Hummer H3. The wire is very flexible which make routing a lot easier. This kit supposedly does not include the RCA cable, but they send me one with it anyway (I bought Stinger 6-channel RCA and 9-wires cables separately and they are great also). The wires are surprisingly flexible for its gauge size. The protective sheathing is of very high quality and certainly provide adequate protection. I am certainly a big fan of Stinger's products. It does what it suppose to very well for a reasonable price.

I've bought 2 of these kits for separate vehicles. The wore is nice and flexible. I used different rca cables but the one in this kit seam good. Will continue to buy for other vehicles.

Product was completely sealed and brand new. Packaging is very hard to open, sharp plastic, be careful. Upon opening I noticed the black backing had some soot on it and then noticed the 4AWG power wire had soot on it as well. Upon further inspection the open end of the power wire had it too. I returned it and I can't think of anything that could have caused this except for a very very strong magnetic field. See pictures, it would be nice to know what really happened.

I purchased this for my new system install knowing it would be more than what I needed, but also provided plenty of head room. The cable. It is tinned OFC 4 gauge wire. See picture of width of the core. True, solid core 4 AWG wire is 0.204" in diameter, this is 0.238" stranded. What does this mean? It does NOT mean it is oversized. You have to take into account the air between strands, which I've seen estimated to add 10% diameter to solid core AWG standards for stranded comparison. So for 4 gauge wire that would be at least 0.224" in diameter for stranded wire. Obviously this is larger than that. My only complaint with regards to this wire's size is that nowhere (neither Amazon nor Stinger's own website) does it list the core strand count. I also attempted to contact Stinger customer service with zero response. Note 1: The measured diameter of the core is approximate because you can distort the shape when you pull in the caliper/micrometer. Note 2: A single strand of wire measured 0.004", however without knowing how many strands there are I couldn't compute the actual cross-sectional area. The insulation: I was happy to see how thick the insulation actually was. While the inside is not completely smooth and the thickness varies between peaks and valleys (twists of the core) the thinnest point came to 0.073" thick. While it provides ample protection in thickness, it also did not hinder the flexibility of the cable. Cable out the box: The cable comes pre-assembled with the fuse holder with 18" of pre-fuse wire. Both the pre-fuse end of the wire and one end of the ground wire came with the terminal rings already crimped on. This was awesome for me as I do not have a 4ga terminal crimper and would have had to get ghetto and use a hammer to crimp it. Also note that, contrary to one reviewer, having it pre-cut for the fuse holder does not hinder your application. it is merely cut to the maximum safe length, you can always cut more off if your application allows for a shorter pre-fuse run! RCA cables: More than ample length to suit any of your application needs. After installing I have zero static or noise from the RCA cables. IMO RCA cables are rarely the problem and rarely do you need super expensive "premium" RCAs. Bottom line: THEY WORK! Remote Wire: Same as RCAs, it works and ample length is provided. Fuse holder: This is where I'm not a huge fan of this kit (saved this for last for this reason). It is (like the vast majority of fuse holders available) cheap plastic construction. The base with the screw holes is detachable from the holder itself, but is crudely attached by 2mm wide 'hooks.' The base does have cutouts for a zip-tie to be used to secure it, which I chose to use the zip-tie to secure it as I don't trust its construction. As for the included fuse, it comes with a 150 amp fuse. By all the research I've conducted, this is too much for a 4ga wire. Most sites (including Crutchfield and BCAE)recommend a maximum of 125 amps, if your application requires over 125 amps I HIGHLY recommend getting a larger wire than 4ga. I replaced my fuse with a 100amp fuse as my system only draws 80 amps and I also have secondary fuses after my distribution block. I would recommend this kit for anyone with less than a 125 amp system. I did, however, deduct a star because of lack of response from customer service and because of the fuse/fuse holder.

Got this in 1 day with prime shipping, items are as described, it is brand new, and unopened. I can't wait to get it hooked up, it is oxygen free wire, 4 gauge, the power and ground are pre-terminated. The price is pretty good, and the product is original. I bought some off brand wire before this and I deeply regret it, go with a well known brand that's been around for a long while now, like stinger or rockford fosgate.

I bought this kit for my 5 channel Pioneer amp and I haven't had any issues so far. I've had my set up for about a month now and everything sounds great! The quality of this kit is exceptional! I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla and the 17ft power cable was sufficient.

Just what I expected from stinger, I’ve used there cables and fittings for many years and would highly recommend them to anyone, just steer clear of the Chinese stuff as it’s normally not what you expect, poor quality materials and gauged wrong, Stingers everytime

It is tinned copper but seems to be good size.

Ground was a little shorter than I would have liked but I made it work, and another set of crimps for the amp side would be nice too. Minor complaints, my ride bangs now and that's what really matters.
