    Thinner than anticipated

These are nice, I thought they would be a bit cushier/thicker. I am able to use them for a short time before my fingertips are numb, and then I have to go back to my glove. Easy to put on and to move around. I am a 3 under gal and just put them together on the string it worked perfectly.

Bit of a pain to put on, but work well.

Pretty comfy. I've only used them for a couple weeks, but haven't noticed any issues with wear or accuracy. That said, I nearly messed up my serving trying to fit these over the end loop but they slid on nicely the rest of the way.For clarification, I put them on my 16 strand recurve string.First I thoroughly waxed the string. Then I hooked the cotter pin over one end of the string. Then I threaded on the first rubber bit right up to the thickest part of the serving, barely exposing the end loop, holding the pin with pliers to get better leverage. Then I was stuck, unable to move the rubber any further by hand or get a good grip on it with pliers and risking the integrity of my serving against the edge of the pin.Next I removed the pin and threaded it through the rubber piece itself, then set the barely exposed end of my string around a cabinet knob. Then it was just a matter of grabbing the pin with the pliers and using it to pull the rubber down the rest of the way and unhooking the pin from the rubber. Same procedure for the next piece.Overall, they look nice, feel nice, and I'd highly recommend these or a similar product.

    not hard to get on

*by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2013*

I was a bit tentative about ordering this product at first, reading about how hard it was to get on. The diameter of the fingersaver is much smaller than the reinforced parts of the bowstring loop at the end. However it is not that hard. Just:1. watch the video at their website after selecting the fingersaver tab. note how the guy in the video uses the Cotter pin on the string loop, AND how he uses PLIERS to hold the end of the cotter pin, leaving his other hand free to push/pull the fingersaver over the reinforced parts of the bowstring loop. It's a bit of a "taffy pull (I may be dating myself), but the rubber is stretchy and it is a bit hard to just push from the back end of the saver OR to just pull from the front end. It bunches up a bit; so just pull on the front end a bit as it stretches, THEN push it some more over the loop from the backend of the fingersaver. hope that makes sense.2. the other thing that made it go fast was to have someone else put some tension on the string by holding the reinforced MIDDLE part of the bowstring. The fingersaver goes on a lot quicker that way; it just feeds on so much easier. good luck. i really like these.
