I am returning this today as it was wrapped inside the packaging with a twisted plastic bag that hid all the funky casting/carving issues. Besides it looking like a frankenstein hammer it had some really nasty sharp edges and obviously wasn't in the quality checking line. So would I pay full price for a obvious second? I wanted one still but gave this merchant a swerve based on receipt of my order

I bought this hammer as the one I'd been using before (Impressart) hammer was driving me crazy. The head kept unscrewing as you work so you would have to keep re-tightening it. This one is perfect, it's a good size, fits great in your hand and ideal for using for a few hours at a time.The only downside with this hammer is that you get very small pieces of brass that come off as you hammer but this also happened with the Impressart version so think it's just how they are.I have a quite large collection of hammers for my work and this one tends to be one of the main ones I use all the time. I think over time it will wear down but the price is great so is good value when you consider how much use you will get out of it.I'd def buy again
