This is such a beautiful product! I was astonished at how well built it is and how amazing the pictures are on the activity pages. They are so whimsical and it make me want to keep it for myself instead of giving it to my daughter. The lock on this diary is much nicer then the ones you usually get and the faux gem on it is a nice touch. The activity pages are inside the diary along with the sticker page and are great for tweens. Not too hard and not childish. The diary is pretty sturdy which is nice and the the color by number activity page goes solely by the colors that are in the multi-color pen, which was a great idea. I didn't physically try the white out looking applying pen. It's not white out, it applies decals which I think is really neat. My daughter is going to flip over this set. And it is totally worth the price.

My daughter loves all sorts of notebooks to doodle and write in so I thought this would be a perfect gift for her. Sure enough it was a big hit! She loved the little key and lock as well as the fun pens. The activity pages are nice bonuses and we would be happy with the product even without those pages.The notebook itself has glitter on the front. I haven't noticed it coming off yet, but it is something I will keep an eye on as I'm not a big fan of glitter in our household.I do not think you can refill the applicator pen once it's done but it seems like it has a fair amount inside.It's a good, fun set and should make any little girl happy.

The lock broke immediately and the sticker pen got twisted up after first use. Fortunately, the vendor gave me no problems and fully refunded my purchase upon return.

Diary was cute but the Stamp pen, did not stamp and the lock would not lock correctly.
