Core Competition BJJ Gi for Men & Women Preshrunk Fabric IBJJF Approved Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Training & Competition Gi

I was just browsing the gi section when I came across this brand. I'd never heard of the brand before. I really liked the look of the black and purple gi so I picked one up.The look is fantastic- matches the belt haha! The sizing chart was a bit weird for me because the company said they cut their gi's larger than most. I'm 5'10 178lbs and I bought an A2. The price was right and the quality so far is wonderful.I used the company's shrinking method on the top twice and once on the pants. The top is still a touch long in the sleeves, but the rest fits great.There are only 2 very minor issues. The belt cord is getting frayed on the ends...I wish they were sealed. Other minor thing was there was still paper on the inside of the jacket around where the sewing seams are. It's all come off now, but it was weird in class because the stuff was everywhere on the mat!All in all, this is a super comfy gi and it's become one of my favorites so far.

I ordered an Essential (check out my other review) but decided to splurge and get this one. Honestly, Essential line is so good that I didn't notice too much of a difference. Having said that, I regularly get compliments on this gi that I don't get on others that I have except for my Meerkatsu, which is easily twice the price.I'm super bummed that I got a bit of bleach into a wash so there's some orange spotting that bums me out. But that's totally on me.I only wash in cold water plus a little ammonia and hang to dry; the pic you're looking at was taken 2020.02.23 and I wear this gi about once a week as well. Except for the slight orange-tinge I told you about, this is in essentially the same condition as when I bought it.Like all the Sanabul lines, it's a bit large for an A2 but two hot washes and two dryer sessions fixed that right up. Amazing value and style for the price.

Great gi! Fits my son perfectly. He likes the texture and weight.

I'm 6'2 175 lbs. Leaner lower body but broad shoulders as I was a former swimmer. I first purchased an A2 but it felt really big. I may have been able to shrink it down but wasnt going to chance if it would shrink the 3 inches as I needed it to. I returned it for an A1 and it fit almost perfectly out of the bag. Still about an inch long in the pants, but there was not excess material like in most gi's I have tried. After reading that these can be shrunk 3 inches I was careful on my first washing. I used warm water and low heat in the dryer and it shrunk a tad. So to sum it up... order one size smaller and dont overheat it in the washing process. The gi jacket is also a bit stiffer than most but I expect that to soften up over some time. Great gi great looking too. I will buy another due to its lightweight and value.

I’m 5’8” and 146 lbs, and the Sanabul Core Series Competition BJJ Gi in size A1 fits me perfectly. The cut feels tailored, neither too loose nor too tight, and the fabric strikes a solid balance between durability and comfort on the mats.I also own the Sanabul Essential and the Highlights Pro Competition models, and I’m really happy with all three. If I had to rank them, my personal top 3 would be: Highlights, Core, and Essential.Highly recommended for anyone around my size looking for a reliable and competition-ready gi.

Wow - what a bargain - and super nice looking. My son is going through his teen growth spell and there's no way I'm buying him an expensive gi for BJJ right now. I found these on Amazon and took the bait. I was super impressed when I open the package. This gi looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. Seams are good, embroidery is good, fabric is nice (not ripstop, but good thick cotton). The color schemes are cool - I bought the nave/orange - and it has washed up well without losing color and didn't shrink much at all (yes, I dried it all the way in the dryer). I just noticed a guy at my gym has one in royal blue that he said he's had for several months - looks good. I'm impressed enough to consider one for me. I mean come on: $70?! Do it - buy one.

I like the color, the fabric, the durability, stitching. Everything is perfect. I'm very happy with Sanabul's product here, and I'll definitely be ordering their gis from now on.

Excelente kimono, tiene una gran calidad y eso que es bastante accesible en comparación a otras marcas. El talle me quedo muy bien (A2), la tela es muy fuerte y no se encoge al lavar, también seca muy rápido. Llevo meses usándolo prácticamente todos los días y no tiene ni un solo rasguño.100% vale la pena.

My partner recently bought the same but in a different colour. I bought him the grey for his birthday, when it arrived it was double the size too big and colour was nothing like the picture! That’s his birthday present ruined!

Hab nach einem leichten und farbigen Anzug fürs Judotraining gesucht und damit gefunden. Habe einen A3 bin ca. 183 und wiege um die 88 kg. Und das Teil sitzt gut. Meine Bedenken das er den geforderten Belastungen evtl. nicht standhält hat sich zumindest noch nicht bestätigt. Für Judo is er schön leicht und bequem. Jedoch mit Sicherheit nicht Wettkampf geeignet!
