Best curly haircare and smells wonderful

My hair has changed to wavy over the last year-ish so I switched to the Curly Girl Method. I've been trying all kinds of products trying to find the right one for my wavy hair and I really like this one. If you've ever used their sunscreens it smells like the same coconut and slightly banana. The smell is pleasant but not so strong that it lingers and is overpowering. It cleanses well and has left my waves soft and hydrated. Using this along with their waves conditioner, 3-in-1 leave-in conditioner and wave style cream has done wonders for my waves. I wash every 2-3 days, refeshing in between with a bit of water and more 3-in-1 if my hair feels on the dry side. I would recommend it.

I spent forever trying to find a decent shampoo/conditioner that would bring back my hair’s weird wavy texture, everything else weighs on it so heavily and keeps it frizzy and straight looking.. this is light, SMELLS AMAZING (which I’m shocked bc I hate coconut and banana-y scents) and it has brought back more life to my hair than ever. this is after one wash!! (Sauve had my hair frizzy and flat and poofy). I used the air dry cream as well and tried out a diffuser on a blow dryer for the first time and I’m so happy. Can’t wait to see how it helps my hair in the long run once I get the hang of the cream and the diffuser. Recommend for everyone with wavy to curly hair!

i don't usually put much faith in "curl-enhancing" products, but weirdly enough, this one really does work. it won't turn your hair into an afro, but it definitely makes your hair more wavy. usually it takes a day or two after washing before my hair shows its natural waves, but yeah, using this stuff brings out the waves right after showering. crazy but true. it's a little expensive, but it's pretty good for the price. not sure about moisturizing. i normally use Shea Moisture products, so that's a pretty tough act to follow. i'm sure Shea is more moisturizing than Sun Bum. this shampoo doesn't dry out my hair, but i'm not sure it makes it any more "moisturized". another odd thing: it doesn't smell "beachy", like coconut. it's hard to pin down the actual aroma...a little like creamy cinnamon, but the scent is pretty mild. it doesn't really make my hair smell like anything. overall, i'd probably keep buying it if i had a coupon or something. i like it, but it's a little pricey for my taste. not a bad product though.

Couldn’t be more satisfied with the line of products

I CANNOT say enough about sun bum's whole line of products!!! I have fairly curly hair (think tamed down ringlets) and I was very worried about how my hair would handle the intense humidity of Japan and Korea while I was on vacation there. I did a lot of research and heard many good reviews about sun bum so I decided to give them a shot! Every day I would use their curls & waves shampoo/conditioner, their 3-in-1 leave in conditioner, and their anti frizz oil mist. It all smelled and felt SO GOOD on my hair! On top of their products I would also use a curling cream and use hair spray to seal it all in. My hair was able to last all day down and still look good by the end of the day!

Great shampoo for natural curly hair!!

Makes my hair super soft and it smells like the beach. It actually straightens my curls which is disappointing. The bottle is pretty small for the price.
