Casio #10217689 Genuine Factory Replacement Band for G Shock Watch Model GW056A, GW056J, GW056E

I was a straight up replacement for the watch model it described. Had no idea how to go about removing and installing it but luckily the watch desk at a nearby store was able to do it in a jiffy for a few bucks. Gee Golly you know the watch is great when the band wears out before anything else does.

Five stars for being the exact product it claims to be. But installation was a challenge. It takes a very small phillips head screw driver to remove the four visible screws. There is a reason why you see the watchmaker working with a magnifier. Then there is a metal strap on the underside of the watch held in by spring-loaded pins similar to those used with a simple leather strap. NOT easy to get out, very easy to fall somewhere invisible.But I got it done. and with a little dish soap and a toothbrush when the old strap was out it looks like new.

This replacement band was an exact match for the old band on my GW-056A watch, which had broken after 7 years of use. It only took a few minutes to replace the band... and with a little soap and water, my watch is as good as new now! Note that you'll need a tiny Phillips-head screwdriver to remove screws, as well as something to push in the tiny heads of the pins which keep the bands in place (I used a toothpick).

This band functions well, as long as it lasts. I probably take my watch off 2-3 times a year, so there is no reason the material should fail. However, the keeper on my band failed after about 3 years, and without it the band is useless.

Arrived promptly and fits my Casio G Shock perfectly, but be sure to check your specific model.

I was little hesitant to buy this as my model number is not listed in the compatible watches. As my watch has discontinued and replacement parts are hard to find and I was left no alternative but to give it a try. It fits my G-056B perfectly and It looks hundred percent genuine and authentic.

I am not a watch-smith and I had my old, broken band replaced in about a minute and a half. It arrived just as described, two days ahead of schedule and in minimal packaging. I will buy again if I need a replacement.

Es passt genau - nehme an, es handelt sich um Originalteile und keinen billigen Nachbau.Die Montage - passenden Schraubenzieher und eine Büroklammer vorausgesetzt - ist einfach und schnell.
