AWESOME barely covers this little gem. Without blasting sound across the airfield, these speakers (I bought a Pair) put forth a quality, robust sound that is as good as any large HDTV (some of the smaller ones sound as tinny as a cheap tablet (like the ones I bought these two to enhance).Moments after they arrived, I put them to the test. I was pleased with the ease of pairing with my tablet. This biggest surprise was when I turned this tiny marvel on and this lovely female voice came from the speaker, telling me that it was ready to pair with my device. Moments later, they were in love. I opened Netflix, (it could just as easily have been Amazon Prime Videos) and started a film. IMPRESSIVE is the only accurate term I can come up with. The Best $19.99 X 2 a guy could spend on Bluetooth speakers. The robust audio does not exceed a comfortable level, so, if you pursue ear shattering levels of musical enjoyment you will not be pleased, BUT if you want to enjoy music and movies for their content rather than competing with the turbine engine sounds of the flight deck of an Aircraft Carrier, this is the speaker for you. Remember, they are sold individually.

Size is good-nice & small & very light weight, great for travel. Not as loud as I expected it would be with the name LiveBass. There are buttons on the sides but none of them seem to control the volume-they will pause your music or move from one track to the next (forwards or backwards) you can pair it with your device and use it without the provided wires (via headphone jack or USB cable) but it is very quiet. You will definitely want to use the cables and control the volume via your device.Something I noticed is that if you are streaming music live on your device via wi-fi and you have another device that also has wi-fi turned on and the two devices are too close to each other, the speaker gets confused and stops playing your streaming music... Not a deal breaker or anything, but worth noting.

Originally I ordered this and received one that didn't work. I emailed the customer service and they responded in less than an hour asking for my address and shipped me a brand new one. On top of that, I was given a full refund for my original purchase.Besides the customer service, the product is great for $20. It's perfect for walking around with and if you like listening to music while in the shower. Also, I can max out the volume on my music device and it does not hurt the quality of the sound.The only negative of this product is that whenever it's turned on or connected the voice that says "Livebass is on" or "Livebass is now connected" is really loud and it would be nicer if there was a way to turn that off.Update 3/27:The LiveBass stopped working completely. While it does seem like there is good value in this product, it doesn't seem to have great longevity and after reading other reviews I've found that others have experienced receiving a defective unit at first.I realize I could just send the customer service an email about this, but I feel that reaching out to the customer service repeatedly is a bad sign of the product.

I purchased this as a gift, and upon arrival, the unit, while power was on, and would connect to devices, no audio whatsoever would come out.I attempted charging, which indeed did work, but still no audio. This is not the fault of Amazon, and of all my purchases, this is the first that was DOA. Therefore, I chalk it up to the device.UPDATE- i was promptly contacted by the seller and the experience was very, very good . I will say that in a positive way, i have not had customer service such as that extended in this issue, in well over 20 years. Honestly, very, very unheard of these days! If i could give this device an extra 3 stars just for the service i recieved, i would! Add to that, the new speaker works great and had nice, clean sound to it. Paired easily, and connects on is own after the initial pairing with my note 4.So overall, a most pleasant experience from this seller! Prompt, courteous, and very, very rare... Buy with utmost confidence that "they will" make sure your experience with their device is fantastic!

Impressed with this little thing so far. The Bluetooth connects quickly. The build is sturdy and dense and has a rubber base, so it won't slide around when the bass pounds. Awesome sound quality for such a small frame! Crackles a little at full blast with music, but it's expected. Eq is well balanced, not too shrieky or farty on the bass. The SD card feature is cool if you want to throw a playlist on the card, but putting a bunch of music on SD would not work because there's no display or selection other than skip.Cons: can't turn off the voice tutorial - wish they had better indicator lights for the mode it is in instead of the annoying voice, but it's temporary. The FM radio is useless, no frequency indicator and couldn't seem to dial in. I was unaware it had FM anyhow, so no loss reallyAwesome value altogether! You get a lot of quality for 20 bucks. Worth it.

What makes this little speaker have a booming bass is what you set it on. I've set it on my dresser and the formica counter top in the bathroom and the bass really kicks it. I play bass guitar so I really want to hear the bass! Overall I would like it to be a little louder and when it is cranked up all the way, you do get a little distortion but not much. It paired with my Samsung S5 easily but one feature I really like is the micro SD slot. That's how I use it now because I had a spare 16gb micro SD card laying around anyway. Another good thing is that it uses a common charging plug so if you have several Android charging plugs like I do, charging this speaker is no problem. One thing about this unit bugs me. It's hard to see the volume / skip controls. The unit is black and so are the controls. I think some of my wife's fingernail polish will fix that but i haven't done it yet.
