The material is thick and built to last. While the rectangular shape isn’t exactly my personal style, it does make the bag particularly practical for storage. Some reviews don’t quite do it justice—it’s a great carry-on option for bike use. Review: Airplane tips - Here's my review after 2 international flights with 2 bikes. On the first flight, we had one bike per bag and did minimal packing i.e. not tying everything up. The end result at the other end was a partly opened bag, small holes in the bottom of each bag, some screws had come loose and were thankfully still in the bag, and one of the brake discs was no longer even because baggage handling had knocked things around and it hit something. This is definitely not what you want to do! On the return trip, we used 2 bags for 1 bike, and used a roll of masking tape and string to hold everything neatly in place with the brake discs protected on the insides (see attached picture), and screws all tightened. End result was that everything was fine. It's extra work, but this is what you need to do if you want your bike to survive an airplane trip with this bike bag. ## Features - Upgraded to Aophire brand bike travel bag: This folding bike bag is suitable for regular 26 inch bikes, even up to 27.5 inch or 29 inch foldable bike. It was a one time use to fly it from Louisiana to Colorado. Simple design and fit my Harper bike easily. However the front zipper busted and some of the straps came off with just one use. It’s great for what you pay for. ## Frequently Bought Together - Aophire Folding Bike Bag Thick Bicycle Carry Bag,Bike Transport Case for Transport,Air Travel,Shipping (26 inch - Folding Bike Bag 26 inch to 29 inch Thick Bicycle Travel Case,Bike Cases for Air Travel,Transport,Shipping - 12 inch x 30 ft Bubble Cushioning Wrap, Perforated Every 12" Protective Packing Moving & Shipping Supplies for Boxes & Fragile Items --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/101519344-folding-bike-bag-thick-bicycle-carry-bag-bike-transport-case](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/101519344-folding-bike-bag-thick-bicycle-carry-bag-bike-transport-case) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
